A study from researchers at Fudan University in Shanghai and the New York Blood Center published in the Cellular & Molecular Immunology journal found when COVID-19 was brought in contact with lab grown T lymphocytes or T cells, the virus disabled the cells.  These T cells help identify and eliminate pathogens in the body.  The researchers found SARS could not disable T cells.  This action resembled that of HIV.  This does not bode well that once infected one can ever be free of the virus, similar to other viruses that hide in the body.  Considering COVID-19 genetic code has been analyzed and found to contain a majority of SARS and around half of MERS genetic code this is more proof there are three plagues in one virus.
