Sadly many churches today totally avoid end time Bible prophecy, and are even hostile to the topic!   This unfortunately fulfills the following prophecy from Matthew 24:39------   "......and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so shall the coming of the Son of Man be."   Revelation 1:3 and 22:7 tell us there is a blessing for those who will study prophecy, and 2 Timothy 4:8 tells us------ "....in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to ALL WHO HAVE LOVED HIS APPEARING."   Just as a side note, the vast majority of end time Bible prophecy is found from Genesis to Jude.   I have always estimated that only around 15% of all end time Bible prophecy is found in the Book of Revelation.   In my full course (nearly 300 hours in length), I usually spend around 100 hours of teaching time before getting to Revelation, and then follow up afterwards with Daniel, Isaiah, Zechariah, and many other places in the Tanakh (Old Testament).
