"Response to John's insights About Psalm 120: When Junipers Bloom"

Thank you John for your marvelous insights about Psalm 120! I wondered if junipers bloom and when. Israel in in the Northern Hemisphere as is the USA. Here is a link: https://homeguidessfgate.com/juniper-bloom-64319.html. “Junipers produce pollen cones or flowers on male plants to pollinate female plants and produce seed. The major production of this pollen occurs in late winter to early spring – January through April.” APRIL!

Unlike most trees, junipers are diocious meaning that individual plants produce male or female flowers.

Another article, about trees in Israel, mentions they are Syrian Junipers on Mount Herman, Golan. They are believed to be some of the oldest trees in Israel.

With Love and Shalom,

Jean
