Greetings my friends in Jesus Christ. Wow - what a life journey we have been on in the past couple of months. It was not so long ago that we were all sitting together in fellowship and worship in Sunday church services. Now our Sunday church time is spent on the computer . All because a coronavirus which started on the other side of the planet came here to America and has changed our lives. But we have hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. And that divine and eternal hope can help calm our fears during this time
I was reading thru Psalm 23 and I want to share with you the encouragement this Psalm brings us. " The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want " I am going to list for you some of the things we shall not be in want of according to this wonderful Psalm
God will give us rest : - He makes me lie down in green pasturestime of refreshing : - He leads me besides still watershealing : - He restores my soulholy spirit guidance : - He leads me in the paths of righteousness
will not be alone : - though I walk thru the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, you are with me
peaceful comfort : - Thy rod and staff, they comfort me
food blessing : - You prepare a table for me in the presence of trials
abundant joy : - You anointed my head with oilheavenly provision : - My cup is running over with blessings
joyful blessing : - surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life
eternity in heaven : - I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever
We don't know when this virus pandemic is going to end. But we do know that our God holds the world in His hands. He is still in control. We are not alone as we go thru this time of trial. God is with us. He is just a prayer away from bringing you peace and comfort. Spend time talking with our Lord Jesus Christ. Read His love letter to us, the Bible. Listen to some praise @ worship music. Let the Lord bring peace into your heart. We are going to make it thru this my friends. Keep looking to the Lord , He loves you and has promised to never leave you. Trust Him to keep that promise. And one day my friends we will be back together again on Sunday morning, with joyful praise and worship to the King of Kings, our Savior Jesus Christ !
have a blessed day in the Lord, Gary Rich
