“The Queen”

          “And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: [thronos…thrones] and upon the seats [thrones] I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment: and they had on their heads crowns of gold,” Revelation 4:4.

Introduction

     Up to this point, I have not written a thing about the Coronavirus that is now supposedly ravaging the world. I haven’t felt that I needed to write about it, as the news media is talking about it 24 hours a day, 7 davs a week, so much that I have given up expecting any real “news” to be reported on the TV newscast.

     However, I began to wonder why this virus was given the name, “Coronavirus”? In view of my Bible Studies on other prophetic subjects,

I felt like the Lord suddenly gave me the answer. Now I want to share it with God’s people, and with lost seeking souls……..

THE WORD, “CORONA”

     Look in your own dictionary. The word, “Corona,” is derived from the word, “Coronation,” or vice versa. At any rate, the two words are

definitely connected.

     The word, “corona,” refers to a “crown,” whether literal or figurative. Likely most of our readers have seen artist conceptions of the Lord Jesus Christ with a halo around the top of His head. A “corona,” or crown.

     The word, “coronation” refers to the act or ceremony of placing a crown or “corona” upon the head of a person who is to rule over a nation or people.

     So both words involve the crowning of a King or Queen.

   The act of placing the crown on the person’s head is known as “the coronation” of the person.

      As I meditated upon these things, I was made to wonder if the name for this virus was selected by some in the New World Order as the crowning virus; the virus that would “crown” their efforts to set up their planned one-world government?   I also wondered if they named this virus in view of “crowning” one of their evil followers to be the head of a one-world government?   Could they be preparing to “crown” their one-world government ruler, whom the inspired Word of God refers to as the anti-christ? Was the name of this virus selected in view of the very soon appearance of the anti-christ? Read 2 Thess. 2:3-4.

     I don’t know why this virus was called “Coronavirus.” But I do know that the prophecies of the Bible indicate that very shortly there is going to be a “coronation” taking place.

WHOSE CORONATION?

      The coronation of the Lord’s Church, the Bride of Christ. The “Queen” which is prophesied to “rule and reign” with Christ over His coming Kingdom. Glory to God!

     As I write, the Lord Jesus is coming in just a few more days to resurrect and rapture His Church and believing people to glory in Heaven above. We see this truth set forth in the inspired Word as typified by the rapture of John in Revelation 4:1-2.

     Don’t fail to notice that immediately following John’s rapture, he saw God sitting upon His throne in all of His glory and majesty.   But John also saw twenty-four thrones around the throne of God. Seated upon those 24 thrones were 24 elders. Each of the elders were clothed in white raiment and had crowns of gold upon their heads, Revelation 4:4.

     Now who are these 24 elders? This question is debated by prophecy teachers right to this hour. But it shouldn’t be! The answer is so easy to find in God’s Word, that there should be no question about the identity of these 24 elders. Read on…….

     In Ephesians 2:8-10, we are explicitly told,

     “For by grace are ye saved, through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

     Not of works, lest any man should boast.

     For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”

     Dear readers, the Bible number signifying “Grace,” throughout God’s Word is number “5.” This number always signifies GRACE.

   Then the Bible number which signifies “Faith,” throughout the Bible is number “19.” Now this text Scripture in Ephesians 2, makes it quite clear that every true believer has been saved by “grace through faith.”

     Now add these two numbers together and the total is “24.” Who is sitting upon the 24 thrones in Heaven? The Lord’s Church, made up of

believers saved by GRACE [5] through FAITH [19]. Glory to God!

     Not convinced? Then go through your Bible and see for yourself. No place in the entire Bible was anyone ever promised a “crown”’ for their faithful service to the Lord, other than those believers who are a part of the Lord’s Church. ONLY the Church. No one else! So this obviously means that the 24 elders seen by John typify the Lord’s Church. Read 1 Corinthians 9:25, 2 Timothy 4:8, James 1:12, 1 Peter 5:4, Rev. 2:10, and Rev. 3:11.

     Still need more proof? Gladly! The ONLY group of people in the entire Bible ever promised to “rule and reign” with Christ in His Kingdom, were those in His Church. No other people!

     Oh by the way, who John saw were 24 elders. In Titus 1:5, Paul said that he left Titus in Crete for the purpose of ordaining “elders” in the cities on the island of Crete.

     Now some of these “super smart, super spiritual” fellows trying to teach us “peons” today, claim that the rapture doesn’t even take place until Rev. chapters 6, 7, 11, 13, 14, ad nausea! Dear readers, 1 Corinthians 14:33 is still in the Bible, and God is not the author of confusion.   If any of these various claims were so, which they are not, then why is the Lord’s Church seated upon their thrones in Heaven in Revelation 4 – 5? Well…??

     Obviously the Lord’s Church, typified by the 24 elders, will be raptured right at the end of the Church Age and the beginning of the Tribulation, exactly as typified by John in Revelation 4:1-2. Hello!

THE BEMA JUDGMENT

     Notice that the 24 elders already have their “crowns” upon their heads, and are already sitting upon thrones. They have already received their

rewards at the BEMA seat or throne.

     The BEMA judgment for the believer’s rewards, prophesied in 1 Corinthians 3:11-15, and in 2 Corinthians 5:10, has already happened in John’s vision.   The Coronation of the Queen, the presently espoused Bride of the Lord Jesus Christ, who is to rule and reign with Christ, has already occurred, and John sees the Queen; the Lord’s Church, seated upon the 24 thrones around the Throne of God in Revelation 4 and 5.    Glory to God! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

     Notice that in chapter 5, when the Lord Jesus takes the little book from

His Father’s hands, the 24 elders break forth into singing. 5:9-10. Read carefully the song that they sing. They sing of the Lord Jesus being worthy to take the book. They sing of their own redemption, saved out of every kindred, tongue, people, and nation. But the last stanza of their song is sure worth noticing,

     “And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth, Rev. 5:10. No group of people was ever promised this OTHER than the Lord’s Church. Glory to God! What a privilege it is for a true believer to identify themselves with the Lord’s Church.

     Before leaving the subject of the BEMA, when does this judgment take place? I suggest reading the Parable of the Talents in Matthew 25, and the Parable of the Pounds in Luke 19. Both of these parables set forth the truth that the believers rewards are based upon their obedience and faithfulness to the Lord RIGHT NOW in this present life.

     Now let’s make a Scriptural distinction, which most seem to overlook or ignore. The BEMA is not a throne of judgment. Rather, the word BEMA was derived from the ancient Olympics. The contestants were judged while they were taking part in the Olympic games. The winners

then appeared before the BEMA only to receive their reward. What this is teaching is that the judgment of believers is going on RIGHT NOW, right here in this present life each of us are living.   The life, thoughts, words, and actions of every true believer are being judged by our righteous Lord RIGHT NOW. This is obviously why the Apostle Paul was inspired of God to exhort those in the Lord’s Church at Corinth to “run, that ye may obtain,” 1 Corinthians 9:24-27. See also Hebrews 12:1. The ancient Olympics were attended by thousands of people watching the contestants perform. We living today are also being observed “by a great cloud of witnesses,” Hebrews 12:1. Are our readers grasping these truths? Faithfully loving and serving the Lord means everything for God’s people. The race is about over, and the BEMA is looming on the horizon. Are you ready to be rewarded for your faithfulness to the Lord, or will

you be ashamed as you see your works burned?

     The rewards given at the BEMA? The rewards given to the ancient Olympians was a crown made of Oak leaves.   It should be obvious that the Oak leaves in that crown would ry up, crumble, and be blown away in the winds.

     In contrast, read 1 Peter 1:4, and 5:4. The crowns which God’s faithful people will receive, will be crowns of Gold, and they will never “fade away.” Proof of this truth are the crowns of Gold upon the heads of the 24 elders in Revelation 4 - 5. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

THE TIME OF THE CORONATION

Since John saw the 24 elders [the Lord’s Church] already on their thrones with their crowns upon their heads in Rev. 4 – 5, it is glaringly obvious that they had been “coronated” at the time of the rapture, ending the church age, and the beginning of the Tribulation. In other

words, when we are “caught up” to meet our Lord in the air, and see Him face to face, we will be made like Him, Philippians 3:20-21; 1 Thess. 4:16; Titus 2:13; 1 John 3:1-2. Right then and there the Lord’s Church will be crowned or “coronated.”   We will then appear before the Father’s throne, in the glory bestowed upon us by the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s Son and our Savior. Hallelujah!

     But when? Both the Jewish calendar and our Gentile calendar indicates that this the year of redemption. Solomon in the Song of Solomon 2:8-13, was inspired of God to say that the “rising up” [resurrection] and the “coming away” [rapture] would occur in the Spring of the year. Putting these two facts together, sound reasoning and logic, then tells us that the resurrection and rapture will occur this year.

      The Apostle Paul was then inspired of God to say in Romans 6:5 that true believers shall be resurrected in “the likeness of His resurrection.” Christ Jesus was resurrected in 30 A.D. three days after Passover, which would have been at the end of the Jews Sabbath Day and on the observance of the Feast of Firstfruits, Leviticus 23:10-11.

     Now this year the Passover is on April 8^th on our Gentile calendar, and the Jewish Sabbath day is on April 11^th.   The Jewish Feast of Firstfruits, which is explicitly designated to take place “on the morrow after the Sabbath,” is on April 12^th. This latter date is Easter Sunday, the day the

Lord Jesus Christ literally and actually arose from the grave in 30 A.D.

This year that date perfectly coincides with Easter, the date the religious world has designated to remember the resurrection of Christ. Is this just “coincidence,” or is our Lord really coming on this date this year?

     Dear readers, I choose to go by the evidence, and it all points to the resurrection and rapture occurring this year on April 12^th. This will be the date of the “Coronation of the Queen.”
