Dear John and Doves,
Thank you John for your uplifting message on the relevancy of Psalm 120 for this time.
"Natsal" --God's deliverance-- is so necessary for our mental and spiritual state at this time of solitary confinement and demoralization that comes from zero tolerance of fellowship.
Any psychiatrist will tell you that tactile therapy is so necessary for well-being.
When you pointed out the gematria of "natsal" being 170, AND the verse 170 in Psalm 119 connected by deliverance, it is as a confirmation of our deliverance in times like these.
If "Meshech" --- Ezekiel 38:2 ---hints of the Magog (Russian) invasion of Israel, then that word pertains to these Last Days.Especially because--as you said--"tsarah" infers"tribulation", and what greater tribulation thanthese days, and the wars to come ?
Psalm 120: 4 speaks of the " sharp arrows of the mighty with coals of juniper", which greatly infers war at this time.
The word "Juniper" is used in our JOINT U.S. forces with Israeli forces."Juniper Cobra" refers to our JOINT war game efforts in*missile defense*.
"Juniper Falcon" refers to our JOINT war games involving *air defense*.
Yes, the scenario tells of distress, and perhaps of war in the year 2020.And the Psalm also infers the escape, "natsal", of God's people.
In Revelation Chapters 8 and 9 we see the effects of the 6 trumpets of war. Rev. 10 mentions the 7 thunders (conflicts of wars).
Rev. 11:15--18 tells of our natsal, our escape. We are told of our deliverance at "the last trump" ...the 7th trumpet.( 1 Corinthians 15: 52.)
Your section on the Brideand of "Kedar",referring to the Song of Solomon 1:5, wasespecially hopeful. How we need that sustaining hope when surrounded by a seachange of confusion and hopelessness.
Since Psalm 120 is the beginning of the "ascent" psalms, all the more for us to look up:
"When you see these things BEGIN to come to pass, then look up, and lift up our heads, for our Redemption drawsnigh. " Luke 21:28
Thank you John for always encouraging us in hope.
