There is a certain pastor that has been very active on YT recently.  At first I found him energetic, encouraging and full of the Holy Spirit. However - now he has forced me to look askance at his motives. His young daughter recently tried to commit suicide. I wish this tragic circumstance on nobody. The emotions must be turbulent and powerful. Difficult to understand. The depths of despair cannot be comprehended by any person who has never tried to take their own lives. It truly must be like facing the abyss. A yawning chasm of despair...hopelessness and an unimaginable loneliness. An isolation from your fellow human beings.

Therefore - to subject your deeply troubled young daughter to a you tube audience from her hospital bed is just bizarre. Reality TV at it's most disturbing. Not because it's graphically violent - but because it's spiritually disturbing. That young girl needs her parents - not a you tube audience. She should not be expected to "perform". There are several other aspects to this that simply don't ring true for me and I am seriously beginning to wonder and question. I am praying hard abut it and trusting that our LORD is in control.

Just a heads-up, Doves. We need to be able to discern and have the courage to question.
