So David went to bring up the Ark of YHVH from the house of Obed-Edom to the City of David with rejoicing. When those who were carrying the Ark of YHVH had taken 6 steps, he sacrificed a bull and a fattened calf. Wearing a linen ephod, David was dancing before YHVH with all his might, while he and all Israel were bringing up the Ark of YHVH with shouts and the sound of trumpets.’
–2 Samuel 6: 12-16

The purpose of this study is to consider the distance in miles from the ancient site where the Tabernacle of Moses was in Shiloh to its final resting place of Jerusalem. From the exact spot in Shiloh believed to be where the Holy of Holies placement for the Ark of the Covenant to the exact place that many believe was and will be the corresponding place of the Holy of Holies on the Temple Mount, which would be the Dome of the Tablets is exactly 19.48 miles. This echoes the year Israel was ‘birthed’ in 1948 and linked perhaps prophetically then to the 70th year that signifies a generation.

There appears to be a correspondence that resonates with several key prophetic events persons and numbers that allude to the time and perhaps eventual need for the building of the 3rd Temple. Why? The Ark was in Shiloh, just about one and a half hours north of Jerusalem in the hill country of Samaria. This is where Joshua was instructed to house the Tabernacle of Moses and the Ark of the Covenant. In essence, Shiloh was the 1st ‘Spiritual Capital’ of Israel. There was no Jerusalem to speak of other than it was an occupied insignificant Jebusite stronghold. The only glimpse that the Bible gives is that a very famous personage ruled there as a King and Priest. This man was named Melchizedek, the King of Righteousness and of Salem. He is the one that meets-up with Abraham along the way to fight the 5 Kings that plundered his estate, etc. It was also a foreshadowing of the true King of Peace and Righteousness, Jesus Christ to come.

Even though the Presence of YHVH was at Shiloh, all the tribes of Israel only came to pay a visit during the Feast Days, especially Passover, Shavuot and Sukkot. The site was mainly inhabited by the tribe of Levi that commissioned all the Priests that where to attend to the Daily Sacrifices, etc. The Tabernacle of Moses and that of the Ark of the Covenant situated in this place of Shiloh experienced one of Israel’s most colorful chapters of its Covenant relationship with YHVH. According to the Bible, such time of the Judges, along with personages such as the High Priest, Eli and his sons were main topics of study. So was the constant conflict with the Philistines as it is even to this day with the Palestinians. There was the prophet Samuel that was the result of a praying mother desperate to conceive a son. YHVH heard her plea and granted her request. This son was Samuel whom she dedicated to the services of the Temple. Later on, Samuel was used of YHVH to anoint the 1st King of Israel

A Convergence of Years: 1948-2018
Eventually the Prophet Samuel anointed YHVH’s King, David who was one ‘after GOD’s own heart’, etc. The Prophet Samuel was also instrumental in defeating the onslaught and constant nagging of the Philistines against Israel. He was a ‘Warrior Priest’ as he personally put many to the sword and rightly so. This same timeframe of Israel’s history though was one of spiritual immaturity and half-commitments mixed with idolatry and constant attacks from her enemies. It was at Shiloh that the Ark of the Covenant was taken to the battlefield per the requests of King Saul. He thought that like in the days of Moses, the army of Israel would be victorious because of it. The Ark of the Covenant was captured by the Philistines and King Saul committed suicide on Mount Gilboa. It was not until King David that transported the Tabernacle and the Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem that it ended just over 300 years being at Shiloh.

Although it entered in the heart of David to build a permanent ‘House’ for YHVH in Jerusalem for the Ark, YHVH forbid it due to David being a man of war. Herein is a fantastic clue of when and how the 3rd Temple is to be built. It has to follow the same protocols, prophetically. In this case, it had and has to be built by a ‘Royal Prince, a ‘Man of Peace’ to come like that of David’s son, Solomon who built the Temple. The mere name of Solomon is a derivative of Shalom or ‘peace’, etc. Thus, whomever is to come on the scene in modern Israel that promises ‘Peace and Security’ will also be that one to build the 3rd Temple perhaps. There is also some amazing correlations with the whole episode of the Ark at Shiloh, where the Tabernacle was and then late on in a Temple, that correlates the numbers, 70 and 1948 in particular, etc. It was King David that brought-out the Ark of the Covenant and paraded it before the people of Israel.

Will it be no different in the End of Days when the true Ark of the Covenant is to be unveiled and presented to the people of Israel by a coming ‘Prince’ of Israel? It is speculated that the Ark of the Covenant was hid just before the Babylonians came and sacked the city and the Temple searching for treasures to take back to Babylon. This act would later repeat itself in the Romans taking what remained back to Rome. In fact, there are some talk that eyewitnesses associated with the Vatican Library are said to know that, for example the original Menorah is being housed in the many underground vaults of the Vatican, etc. However, there are no clues or evidence that the Ark of the Covenant was taken to neither Babylon nor Rome. It is believed that this particular piece has been safe-kept under the caves of Jeremiah’s Grotto adjacent Mt. Calvary.

In fact, some prominent Rabbis of Israel give witness that they too have known where the Ark is at also. The late Ron Wyatt testifies that he found it and other Temple furnishings at that very place. In fact, he goes on to say that the Ark of the Covenant played a key role in the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. It is stipulated by Wyatt’s’ assertions that during the crucifixion, the blood of Jesus dripped down through the crack in the rock upon which the cross bean was fastened. This crevice was caused by a strong earthquake that was recorded to have happened at that time. The blood of Jesus thus ran down the crevice and unto the Mercy Seat. This mimicked the sprinkling of the Passover Lamb’s blood what was to have been applied to the Mercy Seat behind the Holy of Holies, at that precise time on the Temple Mount, etc.

A Coming Prophetic Rendezvous
One wonders if after the Rapture of the Bride of Christ and the closure of the Age of Grace that being the Church Age, will the Ark of the Covenant be revealed. If the Ark of the Covenant that is a facsimile of the real one in Heaven is to surface shortly after the 70th year timeframe of Israel’s rebirth, then there will be a religious demand to have it housed; thus 1 major reason for the need to build the 3rd Temple. It could be the case that from 2018 onward, the year 1948 being resonated by the 19.48 miles from where the Ark of the Covenant once was stationed at might be signaling that the Ark is soon to be unveiled, presented and stationed one again. Will it be soon after the 70th year of 2018 since 1948 and that of David’s death that is also attributed to whom the Ark was transported exactly 19.48 miles to be, paraded and stationed by King David?

Such a spectacle will be the dreams of Archeologists and the Theologians alike and what a sight it will be to behold. The whole Shiloh chapter of the Ark of the Covenant is thus connected to a King and a Prophet. Is it any wonder why in Israel’s last prophetic chapter of Daniel there will also be a King and Prophet? In this sad case for Israel, it will be the AntiChrist and the False Prophet. Nonetheless, it does appear that prophetically there is a coming convergence of a precise place, a precise year and even distance, topographically. As noted, it is only when one uses the specific coordinates of the Dome of the Tablets that the resulting number is 19.48 miles precisely. No other spot on the Temple Mount has such a similar result, which is amazing. This study suggests thus, that the Dome of the Tablets is where the true Holy of Holies was and will be.

The false theory that the Temple was in the City of David is unfounded and has caused more confusion than there already is. Also, based on other studies of the possible true location of the Holy of Holies the same exact location is corroborated by astronomical constellation correlations. To reiterate, the observation about the 19.48 mile coefficient could have to do with the year of 1948 prophetically for Israel, and the unveiling of the Ark of the Covenant and therefore, the need to build the 3rd Temple to house it. It would appear that as YHVH is the GOD of mathematics and numbers, certain numbers are perhaps even being used here to hint at and fulfill prophecy, so it seems. As noted in many other studies, if one takes the year the 2nd Temple was destroyed by the Prince of Rome, Titus in 70 AD and one adds the 1948 coefficient in years, then the resulting figure is 2018.

Moreover, 2018 then coincidentally happens to be the 70th year anniversary of Israel returning to the Promised Land. What is the possible prophetic linkage with Shiloh, the Ark and a Father-Son relationship? Well, a man named ‘David’ Ben Gurion declared Israel a nation on May 14, 1948 as the ‘Founding Father’ such as King David was a father to Solomon. It is rather interesting that the new nation birthed had its 1st leader as a ‘David’. As noted, it is King David that brought the Tabernacle and Ark to Mount Moriah in Jerusalem. King David died at the age of 70 after reigning for 40 years. He commissions Solomon to build the Temple to YHVH and house the Ark of the Covenant. As it pertains to 1948, the year 2018 marks the 70th anniversary of such a ‘birthing’. Will a coming ’King Solomon’ and a Prophet type very soon thus come on the scene to build the 3rd Temple to house the Ark of the Covenant as it was in Shiloh? Time will tell.
