Communism

Introduction
     I recently posted a study mentioning the future invasion of the land of Israel as recorded in Ezekiel 38 - 39.  In that study I set forth my belief that this invasion will be led by the armies of Russia.  Wow!  Did I ever stir up a controversy!  My apologies to those who disagreed!  My study was not intended to stir up controversy, but only to share the great truths of God's Word with His people.  
     When the dust settled, I felt the Lord would have me to write on the subject of Communism, and God's intense hatred for this false religion.  Yes, I did say false religion.  Hard core Communists believe in and worship their Communist Ideology, just as much as any Bible believing Christian believes in and worships the Lord God.  
And Therein is the Problem
     When the Lord God gave the Ten Commandments to Moses at Mount Sinai, the very first of those commandments was, "Thou shalt have no other gods before Me," Exodus 20:3.  
     However, fallen mankind, throughout human history, has come up with many different "gods" to worship in place of the One true God of the Bible.  Because of it, fallen mankind has also paid a terrible price for such wickedness, but fallen humanity is very slow to learn spiritual truth.  
The Worst False God of Them All
     The very worst false god of all of fallen man's idols was invented by Karl Marx and Robert Engels in the latter part of the 1800's and early 1900's.  Rather than being an idol of wood or stone, or iron or steel, it was a theory of human government written in a book, which was totally opposed to the Creator God of the Bible.   
      But in 1914 the theory became a reality, when a small group of people formed the Communist Party, and Communism became a living political movement.  Just three years later, in 1917, that small group had become so large that the Bolsheviks were able to murder the Czar of Russia and overthrow the entire Russian government.  They immediately established the first government on earth, whose official governing policy was, and still is,  anti-god Atheism.  
     However, Almighty God wasn't overlooking a bit of it.  Long before the Communist Party was organized in 1914, the Lord God had inspired King David of Israel to write Psalm 14:1, which explicitly states that only "fools" claim that there is no God.  This statement is repeated a second time in Psalm 53:1.  Both of the numbers of these two Psalms "just happen" to be the year numbers of the birth of Communism, and the year when the first Communist ruler, Joseph Stalin, died.  Just "coincidence?"  Not hardly!
     Almighty God Hates Communism
     The Lord God plainly states in Psalm 14:1, and again in Psalm 53:1, that the works of "fools" are "abominable works."  The Hebrew word translated as "abominable" literally means, "stench; to stink.."  In other words, Communism stinks in the nostrils of Almighty God.  And because it stinks to God, He has determined to not only destroy Communism, but to destroy the very people who embrace it, and who have tolerated it ruling over their country and people these many years.  
     The remainder of this study will deal with the future of Communist Russia and the Russian people.......
The Future of Russia
     Most students of Bible prophecy believe that Ezekiel 38 - 39 is describing an invasion of Israel during the coming Tribulation period, led by the armies of Communist Russia.  This claim is controversial, but I have set forth what is commonly believed and taught by most today who seriously study Bible prophecy.  
     When the invasion occurs, the armies of the invaders will be almost totally destroyed, with only a few survivors fleeing back to their own country or countries.  But the Lord God, because of their having invaded His Land, and attacking His Chosen people, will not allow the invaders to get off lightly.  
     In Joel 2:20, the Lord God tells His chosen people, Israel, "But I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea [the Bering Strait or Bering Sea], and his hinder part toward the utmost sea [the Arctic Ocean], and his stink shall come up, because he hath done great things."  
     This inspired Scripture makes it quite clear that it is "the northern army" which will have invaded Israel, and then will be driven into far northern Siberia.  This land area, where "the northern army" is driven, with their faces towards the east sea [the Bering], and backed up against the utmost sea [the Arctic] is very clearly describing far northern Siberia.  Consult a world map and the readers can see it for themselves.  
     An Observation:   If this invading army in Ezekiel 38 - 39, is the nation of Turkey and their Muslim allies, just to the north of Israel, as some claim, then why, when defeated, would they flee into far northern Siberia?  Hello!  
      Dear readers, I am not trying to be offensive, stubborn, or hard headed.  I love God's Word!  And I love my brothers and sisters in Christ.  I am only trying to "rightly divide the Word of truth," 2 Timothy 2:15, exactly as we believers have been told to do.  It is clearly stated in Ezekiel 38:4-6 that allied with  this "northern army" will be Persia [Iran], Ethiopia, Libya, Gomer, the house of Togarmah, "and many people with thee."  This most likely  will include Turkey, which is a Muslim nation, and hates Israel.  But to claim that it is Turkey which is the leader of this invasion is to ignore the many Scriptures indicating that Communist Russia will be the leader of this massive army.    
      The "northern army," being driven into far northern Siberia is a fitting judgment upon Communist Russia, as their wicked Communist government has sent many so-called "political prisoners" to concentration camps in Siberia.  Many of these "political prisoners" were nothing more than Chrisian believers who refused to renounce their faith and submit to and embrace Communism.
      As I write, the wicked Communist government in Russia is still doing this today.  There are hundreds of dedicated Christian believers in Russia today, and the Communist government hates them all, and has done everything they know to do to stamp out Christianty in Russia.  But the Lord God is still watching over His people, and will soon deliver every true believer out of Russia, and out of this whole wicked world, by the coming of Christ to resurrect and rapture His people to glory.  When this occurs, then only the God hating, Christ rejecting, Communists will be left in control in Russia, and they will immediately set about to invade Israel.   And their invasion of Israel will be the beginning of the end for godless Communism.  
The End of Russia
     When the Lord God drives "the northern army" into far northern Siberia, then the Russian people will remain in that "barren and desolate" land throughout the 1,000 years Millennial Kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ.  
      During the 1,000 years of the Millennial Kingdom, Satan himself, the designer of godless Communism, will be imprisoned in the bottomless pit, Revelation 20:1-3.  Then after the 1,000 years of the Millennial Kingdom have been completed, Satan will be brought up out of the pit, and set free.  It appears that the longsuffering and merciful  Lord God will be giving Satan an opportunity to repent of his wickedness during his period of confinement.  But will Satan have repented?  Absolutely not!  During the Tribulation period and thereafter during the Millennial Kingdom, "Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand," Daniel 12:10.  
     When Satan is loosed from the bottomless pit, he will immediately begin to once more "deceive the nations."  What nations in particular?  The inspired Word explicitly states that Satan will go to the nations "which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea," Revelation 20:7-8.  Wow!  What a revealing Scripture!
     This Scripture places "Gog and Magog" in the area where "the four quarters of the earth" come together.  This is at the top of the earth, where the latitude lines are clearly seen on a world map or a globe of the earth. On a globe of the earth, there are usually four of these latitude lines converging, revealing "the four quarters of the earth."  It sure appears to me that our gracious Lord God went to great lengths to make sure His people who seriously study the Word would know exactly where the land of "Gog and Magog" are located; not near the middle or sides of the earth, but closer to the top of the earth.  To me this describes the location of the nation of Russia perfectly, and especially after their "nothern army" has been driven into far northern Siberia.
     Satan, when loosed from his imprisonment in the pit, is going to the nations dwelling where the "four quarters of the earth" come together at the top of this planet.  Now what people will be dwelling at the top of the earth at that time?  The Russian Communist people, who will be driven into far northern Siberia after their failed attempt to invade and destroy Israel as recorded in Ezekiel 38 - 39.  
     This passage in Rev. 20:7-8 also says that these nations Satan goes to will have increased during the 1,000 year Millennial Kingdom, until their number is as "the sand of the sea."  Having been confined in barren, desolate, far northern Siberia for a thousand years, the Russian peoples will have increased tremendously.  
      This passage also makes it clear that these people will be eager to follow Satan in his final mad attempt to defeat the Lord God and destroy His chosen Jewish people.  Keep in mind that these Russian people were the people who embraced the Satanic doctrine of Communist Atheism in 1914.  After spending a thousand years confined to far northern Siberia, there is not even a hint of repentance on their part.  They will eagerly follow Satan, still blaming Israel for all their troubles, and desirous of yet destroying Israel as a nation and people.  
    This is clearly indicated by 20:9, which states that "they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city [Jerusalem]: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them."  This righteous judgment will be the end of Atheistic Communism, and of Russia and the Russian people who have been willing to tolerate it all of these years.  
     "It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God," Hebrews 10:31.  
Conclusion
     Don't make the same mistake that the Bolsheviks in Russia made!  Any reader who has not received Christ as your own personal Savior, or who has doubts about your salvation, should read and believe John 3:16-18, 3:36, 5:24, 14:6, Acts 4:12, 16:30-31, Romans 10:8-13, and Ephesians 2:8-10.  Just bow your heart and mind in simple prayer, in any way you know how to pray, and ask the Lord God to come into your heart and save your soul, and He will!  
     I want to meet every reader in Heaven when our Lord calls all of His people to come "home."  Please don't disappoint me!  May God add His grace to this message and appeal.  In the love of Christ Jesus, our beloved Savior and Lord.......
