Gun Control...??

Introduction
     A few weeks ago in Parkland, Florida seventeen students were shot to death by a mentally deranged young man who wanted to make a name for himself.  This was the spark that has set off marches, demonstrations, and protests by hundreds of school students and their supporters in the past few weeks.   And the object of their protests and demonstrations......."guns."  Just convince the American government to legislate more "gun control," and "peace and safety" will have arrived on earth.  Hooray!   Do our readers believe it?  I don't!  
     As I have watched these marches and demonstrations and demands reported via TV news, I couldn't help but think that this movement is right in harmony with the prophetic Word and has come right on schedule.  What do I mean?  Just keep reading..
The "Gun Control" Movement
     Already some politicians are jumping into this "Gun Control" movement, supposedly to "guarantee that these young people who are protesting can attend school without fear!"   Hogwash!  Only Almighty God can guarantee the protection of anyone.  
       These politicians aren't interested in protecting the young people of America.  If they were, where were the politicians when the nine immoral dimwits on the Supreme Court removed Bible reading and prayer from the public school systems of America?  
     Folks, the first schools in America were "Christian schools," and they were established by our Christian forefathers, with the stated purpose of  "teaching our children to read, so they can read God's Word for themselves."   So what happened?  
     With the help of secular politicians, the public school systems were infiltrated and taken over by humanists, and Almighty God, the Lord Jesus Christ, and God's Word were expelled.  
      So where is this movement led by the youth of America going?  Yes, I do know, for I read God's Holy Word!  All these hundreds or thousands of marching, demonstrating, demanding school children, really mean to these politicians, is "future voters," which must be used to achieve more "political power" for the politicians supposedly supporting them.          
     The Folly of "Gun Control"   
     What has really been demonstrated is the inability of the average school student today to do any really serious and logical thinking or reasoning.  So what if the government is persuaded to clamp down on guns and make them inaccessible to the average American?  Will that change the mentality of sick individuals who want to kill?  Will more "gun control" really stop the killings?  Or will such mentally disturbed individuals simply find another way to kill?   Every honest reader knows the answer to this question.......
     The Light of God's Word
     Centuries ago the Apostle Peter, speaking by inspiration of God told God's people, "We have also a more sure Word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts," 2 Peter 1:19.  So let's just go to God's Word for spiritual insight and enlightenment.  
     Folks, right now, we believers today are living in the very end of the "end times," and the coming of the Lord to resurrect and rapture His Church and New Covenant believers to Heaven is right at the door.    
     When the rapture does occur, it will immediately be followed by the beginning of the seven year Tribulation; "the day of the Lord."   This time of God's judgment upon  Christ rejecting mankind left behind on the earth when the rapture occurs, is staring mankind in the face right now.  And what is going to happen during that time?  I'm so glad you asked!  
There Will be a Change in Weather
     This winter of 2017-18 has been a bitter winter here in America.  Cold, ice, snow, sleet, rain, and more cold.  And with the coming of Spring, so far it hasn't let up much.  However, this coming Summer the heat is going to be even worse than the cold has been this winter.  The temperatures this coming summer will rise into the 100 degree and above range; say, 120 to perhaps as much as 140 degrees world wide.  Read Malachi 4:1.  
The Technological Effect
     When this happens the entire world electrical grid system, which is now over a hundred years old, will begin breaking down.  Air-conditioning will cease to exist, and hundreds, perhaps even thousands, of people will die.  The old and infirm will die first, but then the younger will also start dying from the severe heat.  These conditions will trigger a rush to the  mountains, where people can find refuge in the caves, dens, and holes of the earth from the excessive heat.   Read it for yourself in Isaiah 2:19-21, 13:9-13, 24:17-20, Hosea 10:8, Micah 7:16-17, Revelation 6:12-17, and 9:6.
The Future All Christ Rejectors are Facing  
     Dear readers, have you ever seriously thought about how really dependent upon electrical power the modern world is today?  Without electrical power there would be no mass production of nearly anything, and the so-called "Industrial Revolution" will be over; done; finished; kaput!  Thousands or even millions of people will be thrown out of work as the doors of  factories all over the world are shut .  This means that thousands of products that we use in our homes and lives daily, will simply cease to be available.  But it also means that the mass production of guns, shells, bombs, and all kinds of weapons of war will cease.  No more rifles and hand guns, planes, big guns, tanks, ships, etc. will be manufactured, due to the loss of  electrical power.  And no more lighting and electrical heating for homes.  and even entire cities.   No more television, radio, and Internet.  And on and on. I could mention hundreds of things that we have and use today, which will simply become unavailable due to the loss of electrical power.   
     Folks, during the coming Tribulation, the world's electrical grid system will be totally destroyed, and mankind left on the earth will be ushered back into the darkness of the past.  Candles and lamps, if they can even be obtained, will become invaluable.  
When and How?  
     No, the loss of electrical power will not happen instantly all over the earth, although it could happen instantly in some nations attacked by an EMP bomb.  There is Scriptural evidence to suggest that there will be a certain amount of electrical power preserved or restored by some means right up to the middle of the Tribulation.  But during the last half of the Tribulation, the whole world will be plunged into darkness.
      Listen to this prophecy about those living on the earth at that time,
      "And thy life shall hang in doubt before thee: and thou shalt fear day and night, and shalt have none assurance of thy life:
     In the morning thou shalt say, Would God it were even!  and at even thou shalt say, Would God it were morning!  for the fear of thine heart wherewith thou shalt fear, and for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see,"  Deuteronomy 28:66-67.  
     During the night there will be no electrical power to light up the homes of the people, and they will wish it was daylight.  Then during the day there will be such killing, fighting, robbing, raping, looting, and rioting going on, that the people will wish it was night.  And there will be no guns for defense and self protection.  Why?  Just keep reading.......         
No More Guns
     Where will this "Gun Control" movement happening today, ultimately lead?  It will lead to some powerful political figure [try the anti-christ] convincing mankind that if all guns were removed from mankind, then there would be no more wars, and mankind would have true "peace on earth, goodwill towards men."  Sic!
      Mankind did not have "peace on earth" before guns were invented, and mankind will not have "peace on earth" once the guns are taken away from the people.  
     But this is where the "Gun Control" movement will ultimately lead, regardless of how many refuse to believe it today.  How do I know!  By serious study of God's Holy inspired Word!  
Knives, Swords, Spears, and Bows and Arrows
     Have our readers ever seriously paid attention to the mention of these items in God's Word?  Have you noticed the context in which these items are mentioned?  
     Folks, it is simple logic that taking the guns away from people will not stop those whose heart is set on murder,  from killing others.  There certainly was no guns in existence on the earth when Cain murdered his brother, Abel.  
     When the guns are taken away from mankind, then mankind will revert to making knives, swords, spears and axes from whatever material they can find,  in order to protect themselves and their families.  And yes, to provide food for themselves and their families.   
      If our readers think murdering others with a gun is bad, how many of our readers have ever seen the dead body of someone who has been murdered by being chopped up with a knife or hatchet or axe?  Well..??  
     Future Wars
     Once electrical power is lost, and present weapons of war are used up, the military forces of the world will be forced to arm themselves with primitive weapons; and that is exactly what they will do.  How do I know?  Because the inspired Word of God says so!  
     What weapons were ancient wars fought with?  Read it for yourself in Jeremiah 46:1-4.  The armies of Nebuchadrezzar and the Egyptians were equipped with bucklers and shields, wore helmets, put on brigandines, and every man carried a spear.  Most likely they also had knives and swords, for combat back then was often hand to hand.  
      Now when the failure of the world electrical grid system eliminates the manufacture of  modern weapons of war, what will future wars be fought with?  Well...??
      One of the greatest future wars ever fought in human history, will be the war against "Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meschech and Tubal," Ezekiel 38:1; 39:1. Today serious students of Bible prophecy refer to this as the Russian Invasion of the Holy Land, or as
 The War of Gog and Magog.  
     This future war is described in detail in Ezekiel, chapters 38 - 39.   This future war will be fought all along the east side of the Dead Sea.  What the Russians do not know to this very day, is that when they invade the Holy Land they are not simply going against Israel and the Jewish people, but they are taking on God Almighty, Ezekiel 39:1-2.
      And with what kind of weapons will this war be fought?  In Ezekiel 39:3 the Lord God says that He will "smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand."
      After this battle has been concluded with the total defeat and destruction of the Russian armies, the people of Israel will go forth upon the battlefield to bury the dead bodies of the slain, and to cleanse their land from the aftermath of the battle.  There will have been so many people killed in this battle, that it will take the Israelites "seven months" just to bury the dead bodies, Ezekiel 39:12.  
     But if our readers think that is a long time burying bodies, then how about the disposal of the weapons found on the battlefield?  The inspired Word clearly states that after the Israelites have gathered all of the weapons off the battlefield,  it will require "seven years" just to burn up all the weapons which have been gathered.   
       What kind of weapons?  Modern weapons, which are made of iron and steel and other metals, don't burn!  So what kind of weapons does the inspired Word describe which will require "seven years" to burn?
      "And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years;
     So that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down any out of the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord God," Ezekiel 39:9-10.  
      It should be glaringly obvious to every reader that these weapons are all made of wood, and designed for hand to hand combat.  
Let God be True, Romans 3:4
     Dear readers, I am well aware of the theory commonly taught today that these are really modern weapons being described here in Ezekiel 39, and that the Lord was using primitive language to describe them because at the time this prophecy was given modern technology was totally unknown.  Hogwash!  Hogwash!  Sic!
     That's a double hogwash for those readers who have trouble comprehending.   My Bible says that God made the tongue and gives understanding to those who seek it.  And that He knows "the end from the beginning."  Yet some today would make the Lord God out to be a Moron, who, in the days of Ezekiel, didn't yet have enough intelligence, or knowledge of the future, to even spell the words, "gun, guns, bazookas, missile launchers, tanks, etc."
      Throughout my 64 years in the Lord's ministry, I have always received God's Word at face value as literal truth for what it actually and literally says, and now that I am an old man, I have no intention of changing my attitude in regards to God's Word.   
     Here in Ezekiel 39, when the inspired Scriptures speak of Israel gathering up the shields and bucklers, bows and arrows, handstaves and spears, and burning them with fire for seven years, I receive  this inspired statement as literal truth.  The Word says what it means, and means what it says!  And I have no apology to make to anyone for agreeing with the Word!   Hello!   And hallelujah!  Glory to God!
Conclusion
     So where is this "Gun Control" movement headed?  It will ultimately end with all guns being taken from the people.  The Lord God knows this, and therefore one of the reasons He is coming again is to rescue His believing Bride and people from a world which has become morally depraved, corrupt, and dangerous [2 Timothy 3:1-7], and extremely wicked, just as it was "in the days of Noah," Genesis 6:5; 6:11-12; Luke 17:26-27.   Those who will be left behind on the earth following the rapture, will have to make knives, swords, staves, spears, and bows and arrows, for themselves.  Otherwise, they will be left defenseless against the wickedness of others of mankind on the earth, Isaiah 57:1; Micah 7:2-6.  
     This is where "Gun Control" is headed, and as my text verse for this study points out, these young people marching and demanding today, do not have the spiritual foundation necessary to discern the end of their own actions.   May our gracious Lord have mercy on those who are inclined to seek God and His will for their lives.
