"The Restoration of
The Judges"
The Restoration of
The Judges
By Pastor F. M. Riley
April 25, 2018
"And I will restore thy judges as at
the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning: afterward
thou shalt be called The city of righteousness, the faithful
city," Isaiah 1:26.
"And Jesus said unto them, Verily, I
say unto you, That ye which have followed Me, in the
regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of His
glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve
tribes of Israel," Matthew 19:28.
Introduction
These text Scriptures were spoken to
and about the nation and people of Israel. However,
serious Bible study reveals that the truths set forth in these
text Scriptures will not be limited just to Israel, but will be
expanded to include all of mankind left alive on the earth.
I have actually had some believers say
to me, that it seems to them that we believers will become very
bored, just sitting around in New Jerusalem with nothing to
do. Sic! What a statement! Another example of
shallow study of God's Word on the part of those who should be
studying it diligently. 2 Timothy 2:15 is still in the
Bible!
Really now! Are true believers
going to spend eternity just sitting around New Jerusalem in
Heaven with nothing to do? Not hardly!
Pay Attention to the Inspired Word
When the Apostle Paul wrote to the
Corinthian church in 1 Corinthians 6:1-8, he gave to them a
stern rebuke for going to the world's court system to settle
controversies between believers.
In these inspired Scriptures, in 6:2
Paul explicitly stated that ".....the saints shall judge the
world." Again, in 6:3, he explicitly stated that we
believers ".....shall judge angels." Then Paul gave
the church a stern rebuke for not judging ".....things
pertaining to this life," 6:4.
This should make it glaringly obvious
to any reader who is a true believer that in saving us New
Covenant believers, the Lord God is also preparing an infallible
government to rule and reign with Christ over mankind on the
earth still living in their natural bodies. Read
on.......
Human Government
Perhaps one of the greatest failures in
the history of mankind has been the government. In all of
human history, there has never been a government over any nation
which did not become corrupt and ultimately collapsed. Not
one nation in the history of mankind has ever had a perfectly
just, righteous, and stable government to continue to rule over
the people. Even the best of human governments, throughout
history, have ultimately become corrupt and oppressive, and have
collapsed, usually dragging the whole nation down with them.
Just take a long, careful, look at the
American government today. Our government was founded on
the principles of God's Word, and has now endured 242 years,
much longer than most governments have lasted. But the
Godly principles upon which this nation was founded have now
been discarded by the politicians presently running our
government, and there is so much injustice and corruption in our
government, that the "handwriting is on the wall," Daniel 5:5;
5:25-28.
The Human Race
I am well aware that some "Bible
teachers" [?] believe that at the end of the age, every person
still living is going to receive a "glorified body," and we will
all "live happily ever after." Hogwash! There is not
a word of truth to this false teaching.
When the Lord God created flesh and
blood humanity as recorded in Genesis 1:26-29 and 2:7-8, He
intended for there to always be a flesh and blood humanity
living upon the earth. Proof? Gladly!
"I know that whatsoever God doeth, it
shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing
taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before
Him," Ecclesiastes 3:14.
Now who created Adam and Eve in
flesh and blood bodies? The Lord God! How long did
He intend that they should then continue? "for
ever!" Dear readers, a million years from today there will
be a redeemed people living on this earth in their natural flesh
and blood bodies. And I might add that they will be ruled
over by.......
A Perfect Government
For our readers who seriously study the
prophetic Scriptures, when Christ returns to the earth at the
end of the Tribulation, who is He bringing with Him? Read
Zechariah 14:5 and 1 Thessalonians 3:13, and believe what these
Scriptures say. Now why is the Lord bringing "all the
saints with Him?"
Keep in mind that when He comes
back to the earth at the end of the Tribulation, He is coming to
establish His own glorious Millennial Kingdom right here upon
the earth, and He will rule over those flesh and blood believers
who have survived the Tribulation, and who will repopulate the
earth. Glory! And it is clearly stated in God's Word
that we New Covenant believers will "rule and reign with
Him." 2 Timothy 2:12; Revelation 5:10; 20:6; 22:3-5.
Folks, we will come back with Christ,
when He comes to establish His Kingdom upon the earth, to serve
as rulers and judges in His Kingdom, to insure that His kingdom
will be a totally righteous government right from the day
it is established on the earth, and right on through all
eternity.
The Government of Christ
Sin will never enter the eternal
Kingdom of Christ [Isaiah 9:6-7] again, as sin once entered the
Garden of Eden so long ago. Why? Because........
[1] Christ and
His saints will rule His Kingdom "with a rod of iron,"
Revelation 2:27; 12:5; 19:15. Anyone on the earth stepping
out of line, and even thinking about sinning or causing
problems or starting a war, will be corrected, or slapped down
the instant such thoughts come into their mind.
[2] Satan will be cast into
the lake of fire and brimstone, never to deceive or bother the
human race again for ever, Revelation 20:10.
[3] Satan's angels
who chose to follow him in his rebellion against God will also
be judged [1 Corinthians 6:3] and cast into the lake of fire.
[4] The whole world we come
back to with Christ at the end of the Tribulation, will be
judged by us saints, and the incorrigible wicked will be purged
from the earth even before Christ establishes His righteous
Kingdom on the earth, 1 Corinthians 6:2.
[5] The "sin
nature" will be totally removed from mankind still living on the
earth in their natural bodies, Ezekiel 47:12; Joel 3:20-21;
Revelation 22:2.
[6] The government
Christ establishes on the earth for His Kingdom will be composed
of blood washed, born again, resurrected and glorified
believers, who will rule and reign with Christ over
redeemed mankind on the earth. Every position of authority
on the earth will be filled by a "glorified saint." Read
the Parable of the Talents in Matthew 25:14-30 and the Parable
of the Pounds in Luke 19:12-27, and take heed to the teaching in
these parables. Also read Revelation 20:6; 21:24; 22:3-6.
The Mind of Christ
Dear readers, every community, village,
town, and city on the earth will be under the rule of a "judge;"
a "glorified saint." This will guarantee that sin will
never again enter into, or be received by any member of the
human race, as it was with Adam, in all of the eternal ages to
come. Glory to God! Praise the Lord!
And why not? Every resurrected,
glorified, saint will have the fully functioning "mind of
Christ" operating in their "glorified body."
Therefore every controversy which might arise among natural
mankind will be settled by a glorified saint, just as if Christ
Himself were settling it.
Today we New Covenant believers already
have "the mind of Christ," 1 Corinthians 2:16. However, it is
presently suppressed by the "sin nature" dwelling in our
flesh. This is why the inspired Apostle admonished the
Lord's church at Philippi to "Let this mind be in you, which was
also in Christ Jesus," Philippians 2:5. And why we
believers are admonished in Romans 12:1, "I beseech you
therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present
your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which
is your reasonable service."
The Blessed Hope
This is also why every true believer
ought to be studying the prophecies and looking forward to the
resurrection and rapture. It is at the time of the rapture
that we will leave this body of flesh with it's present "sin
nature," and enter into our "glorified body" ".....fashioned
like unto His glorious body...," Philippians 2:20-21; 1 John
3:1-2; a body which can never know sin any more for ever.
Oh, glory to God! How I long for that glorious
moment. Titus 2:13-14.
The Ages to Come
But don't forget the promise of God
about the future. The inspired Apostle wrote in Ephesians
2:4-7, "But God, who is rich in mercy, for His great love
wherewith He loved us,
Even when we were dead in sins, hath
quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved:)
And hath raised us up together, and
made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
That in the ages to come He might shew
the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us
through Christ Jesus."
Now tell me dear reader, why did the
Lord God create this planet called earth? One reason was
to populate it with mankind whom He also created and placed upon
it. Clear enough?
Now then tell me why has the Lord God
created eight other planets and placed them in our solar
system? And trillions more beyond our present solar
system?
Have our readers even considered that
some day, under the righteous rule of King Jesus and His saints,
with natural mankind continuing to bear children, and there
being "no more death," [Revelation 20:14; 21:1-4] mankind will
literally fill up this planet with all the people the earth can
support? Then what happens to mankind?
It should be glaringly obvious to
any rational thinking believer that when that time arrives, and
it will come, the Lord God will assist some of mankind in
migrating from the earth to colonize another planet in our solar
system, and mankind will be made to marvel "at the exceeding
riches of His grace" in "the ages to come, " Ephesians
2:7. Oh, glory to God!
And just as God appointed the Lord
Jesus Christ to rule and reign "for ever and ever" over this
earth, so He will take another "glorified saint" and make that
saint ruler and judge over the next planet to be colonized, and
"Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no
end," Isaiah 9:7.
Hallelujah! Praise the
Lord! My God, "How great Thou art."
Conclusion
And every reader of this study who is
still lost in sin and unbelief is going to miss it
all.......Unless you repent and receive the Lord Jesus Christ as
your own personal Savior, Acts 20:20-21. But
hurry! Time is running out! This Dispensation of
Grace is nearly over, and the coming of Christ to resurrect and
rapture His believing saints to glory is right at the doors,
Matthew 24:33. There is only a few days left to make
things right with the Lord God who created YOU!
If you are still an unbelieving, lost
in sin, unsaved, reader, please, please; Yes! I am begging
you, to read the following Scriptures and seek and believe and
receive the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior NOW, while there is
still opportunity for you to be saved.....
Read John 3:16-18, 3:36, 5:24, 14:6,
Acts 2:38, 10:43, 4:12, 16:30-31, Romans 10:8-13, 1 Corinthians
1:18, Ephesians 2:8-10, Hebrews 9:22; 9:28; and
