"Passover Similarities"

Hi John and Doves,

A Happy Easter to all. He has Risen ! Hallelujah.

I've been doing a lot of reading about Pesach (Passover) and marveling at all the similarities between the Biblical Passover and Exodus and events described in the Book of Revelation.  Revelation 11:8 gives us a massive pointer to the Passover and Exodus from Egypt. Stating that Jerusalem is "figuratively called Sodom and Egypt". Indicating that there will be a future exodus from Jerusalem. Wouldn't Passover be the the most obvious time for a Biblical fulfillment re this prophecy? I believe so. Revelation 12:16 describes a river of water being spewed at the woman as she flees but that the earth "opens it's mouth to help her". This sounds like an earthquake to me - a huge earthquake, creating massive cracks and sinkholes. In the Biblical Exodus, God created an opening in the waters to allow the Hebrews to escape Pharaoh. This time around, the dragon attempts to use the waters to kill the Jewish people but God gets the earth to open up her mouth.

Logically - everything points to Passover for a future redemption.

May Almighty Father God love, guide, protect and lead us all. Taking us out of this sin-drenched world. Taking us HOME. Please hear our prayers, Abba Father. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem and thy Will be done.

In Jesus' beloved Name we pray.
