Stephen Hawking and the Time of the End (The End of Time)
Billy Graham's passing foreshadowed the coming end of the Church age, especially the Rapture. Could Stephen Hawking's death foreshadow the end of time (as we know it). One of his most famous books was titled A Brief History of Time (from the Big Bang to Black Holes). The end of time words can be rearranged to Time of the End. In the NKJV this expression Time of the End is used five times in the Book of Daniel (8:17, 11:35, 11:40, 12:4 and 12:9).
We know that God is above time - He created it! For Hezekiah the Lord caused the sundial to go backwards, and for Joshua He caused the Sun to stand still! His ways are above our ways, and we need to understand that in the Day of the Lord there will be an acceleration of time as the multitude of prophecies in the Word relating to Christ's 2nd Coming are rapidly fulfilled. There is a widely used expression - it's not the end of the world. True, but the world as we know it is coming to an End - the prophesied Time of the End!
While Stephen Hawking was a great scientist, Peter the Apostle was, through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit (and the revealed word in Psalm 90:4), given a revelation about time (in reverse emit - connected to Light!!). In 2nd Peter 3:4 (see below), He emphasised the FACT that one day with the Lord is as 1000 years and 1000 years as one day. This is a ratio of 365 000 to one!! (Not 1000 to one!).
On 6-7 October 2013, I wrote a letter to Five Doves titled The Lord's Time Ratio and the Rapture. The link is below but I have copied the text into this new letter (below). I am aware that this appears quite complex, but the context is very important as we move into the Time of the End and the {time shifting} Day of the Lord.

2 Peter 3: But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. 10 But the Day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night.
The Rapture!! Given all the above and (below) relating to the Lord’s time ratio, what is exciting and noteworthy is that when warning of the Rapture the Word of God moves out of time, using the words TWINKLING OF AN EYE! What an incredible contrast! Not a second, or a split second, not even a wink or even a blink - but just the mere TWINKLING OF AN EYE! An immeasurably small moment of time! This word in 1 Corinthians 15 is the only time the word twinkling is used in the KJV. Strong’s gives the Greek word as rhipe - a jerk of the eye. We will be ushered in a moment, individually and corporately as the Bride of Christ, into His Eternal Time! Those left behind will remain shackled by time.
T(t)winkle starts with a t as a symbol of the Cross - Jesus is coming for His CROSS-EYED Bride!
A Powerful and Quick Revival? (before or after the Rapture of the Bride)? I believe that there will be a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit (upon all flesh), and many will find salvation in the time that lies just ahead. The promise in 2 Peter 3:9 (above) is exceptionally wonderful - He is not willing that any should perish!! As indicated in Romans 9:28, there will be a short or quick work across the face of the Earth! A very quick revival? We see this truth of God moving quickly with Elijah (1 Kings 18). A small cloud appeared at the seventh time of prayer, and the whole sky quickly filled with black clouds and a great rain fell!!

The Lord’s Time Ratio and the Rapture (6-7 October 2013)
Psalm 90:4 For a thousand years in Your sight are but as yesterday when it is past,
or as a watch in the night.
First, I would like to thank and congratulate John Tng for his first You Tube! I for one found this very interesting, with new insights into the names, life and times of Barack Obama. Now this letter may seem unusual - and it probably is - but for some time I have felt the Holy Spirit guiding me to understand the Lord’s view of time - His time ratio. Jim Bramlett presented some very interesting timelines in his letters on the Historical Perspective. These are quite relevant to my letter, and I have included the links below:

The Lord’s Time Ratio - 360 000 days to one day!
2 Peter 3: 7-8 (Amplified) But by the same word the present heavens and earth have been stored up (reserved) for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly people. 8 Nevertheless, do not let this one fact escape you, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day.
These are powerful verses, especially for the end times in which we are living. Now I feel that we may at times not realise the fullness of what this says about the Lord’s time perspective, perhaps reading it as 1000:1. However, the ratio is one day to a 1000 years. Using prophetic 360 day years (easier for my mathematics!), this means that the Lord’s time ratio is 360 000 to one!! Furthermore, if Psalm 90:4 is taken literally, 1000 years is as yesterday (360 000 to 1) or as a watch in the night! My understanding is that a watch in the night is just three hours, so this would yield a time ratio for the Lord of 2 880 000 to one!!! (or 2*1440 000 to one!). Nevertheless, the 360 000 to one ratio in 2 Peter is best for this letter.
Looking more closely at 2 Peter 3:8, we see that to the Lord time can move both ways: expanded out from one day to a thousand years, or contracted or compressed in from 1000 years to one day! One illustration, albeit inadequate, is a piano accordion (for those of us old enough to remember when these were used widely!). Imagine a piano accordion expanding so that 360 000 components can be seen, and then contracting back to just one!
In verse 8. The Lord strongly emphasises this time ratio - DO NOT LET THIS ONE FACT ESCAPE YOU! So what does this mean as we look for His returning? I would like to cover three aspects of time, and the acceleration of time: the days of the Church and grace - closing fast; the Rapture - in the twinkling of an eye; and Daniel’s time of the end (seven years of Jacob’s trouble).
Before starting the journey through these, it is worth taking the long-term or historical view that Jim Bramlett mentions: in particular, that the 6000th year of time (from Adam) may begin on 1 April 2014. It is difficult enough for us to get our heads around this timeline, so what about the Lord’s perspective. Clearly if we compress time we get simply six days. However, if we use the Lord’s time ratio of one day to 360 000 days to expand time, what do we arrive at?
6000 years is equivalent to 2 160 000 (prophetic) days. Now applying the Lord’s time ratio of 360 000 to each day we arrive at 777 600 000 000 days (if my calculations are correct!). So the Lord sees the 6000 years as just six days, or as the incredibly large number above!
Now this may seem just an exercise in mathematics, but we are living in a time when time itself is accelerating. Repeating 2 Peter 3:8 Nevertheless, do not let this one fact escape you, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day. If we understand His timing, we will be able to comprehend just how rapidly the Church will move towards the Rapture, how quickly events in Israel and surrounding nations will fulfil countless prophecies, and how lukewarm Christians and the world will be caught out by the rapid unveiling of the Revelation of Jesus Christ!!!
Ephesians 1:10 [He planned] for the maturity of the times and the climax of the ages to unify all things and head them up and consummate them in Christ, [both] things in heaven and things on the earth.
The Imminent Outpouring of the Holy Spirit - but the Gate of Grace is Closing!!
2 Peter 2:9 The Lord does not delay and is not tardy or slow about what He promises, according to some people’s conception of slowness, but He is long-suffering (extraordinarily patient) toward you, not desiring that any should perish, but that all should turn to repentance.
Romans 9:28 (KJV) For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth.
The 9th verse of 2 Peter 2 (above) is very important! This verse provides an insight into just how much God loves the world, His long-suffering. In the short time before His Return He wants all to repent - not desiring that any should perish! What beautiful and poignant words! However, we are a time that is like the time of Noah, and He is preparing to close the Door into the Ark of Grace. While there will be an opportunity for those who call upon the name of the Lord to be saved in the time (seven years) of Jacob’s trouble, this will be in very difficult times - at the cost of livelihood and even one’s life!
However, I believe that there will be a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit and many will find salvation in the time that lies just ahead. As indicated in Romans 9:28, there will be a short or quick work across the face of the Earth! It is interesting to apply the Lord’s time ratio to the ministry of Jesus - around 3 ½ years or 1260 days. Expanded this equates to 453 600 000 days! Compressed, this equates to just 5.04 minutes!! Five minutes that changed the world!! From the Lord’s perspective, His time of ministry on Earth could be viewed as 453.6 million days or 5 minutes!
A very quick revival: we see this truth of God moving quickly with Elijah (1 Kings 18). A small cloud appeared at the seventh time of prayer, and the whole sky quickly filled with black clouds and a great rain fell!!
God’s ways are far higher than our ways, and He is the Great Mathematician and the One Who can move in and out of time. I would like to illustrate this using a verse from Ezekiel 12 (below). The turning point of time, the acceleration of God’s Eternal Purposes is upon us - if we begin to put together words of prophecy given to us individually, prophetic words given to places and nations, His plans for us, His pathway for local churches across the world, His prophetic words in Scripture - just to name a few things - we cannot understand how all this will be fulfilled, unless we understand the Lord’s infinite mind!
He moves from our destiny (even the hairs on our head are numbered!) to the destiny of churches and nations! He sees it all, and His Word will perform what is needed! The time for the fulfilment of every vision is NEAR! Joel’s prophesied outpouring of the Holy Spirit UPON ALL FLESH will be one key catalyst for acceleration! The Holy Spirit is about to turn the page and open the last few pages of our lives, our destiny planned from ages ago and hidden in Christ!
Ezekiel 12:22-23 (Amplified) 22 Son of man, what is this proverb that you have in the land of Israel, saying, The days drag on and every vision comes to nothing and is not fulfilled? 23 Tell them therefore, Thus says the Lord God: I will put an end to this proverb, and they shall use it no more as a proverb in Israel. But say to them, The days are at hand and the FULFILLMENT of every vision.
Rapture of the Bride - Taken Out of Time!!
1 Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
Revelation 22: 7, 20 Behold, I am coming speedily. 20 He Who gives this warning says, Yes (it is true). [Surely] I am coming quickly (swiftly, speedily). Amen (so let it be)! Yes, come, Lord Jesus!
Given all the above (below) relating to the Lord’s time ratio, what is exciting and noteworthy is that when warning of the Rapture the Word of God moves out of time, using the words TWINKLING OF AN EYE! What an incredible contrast! Not a second, or a split second, not a wink or even a blink - but just the mere TWINKLING OF AN EYE!
We have waited patiently for this rapturous moment, but when it happens our watching and waiting will seem as yesterday or as a watch in the night! (Psalm 90:4). Jesus warned us to watch, and not just wait. Twice in Revelation 22 Jesus Himself warns us that towards His Coming there will be an acceleration - BEHOLD I COME QUICKLY - SWIFTLY - SPEEDILY! Perhaps the best way to visualise this is to contrast those who are waiting for the minute hand of a large clock like Big Ben in London to move and strike midnight, with those who are watching the SECOND HAND! He will come for those who are watching! However, there is an added dimension - the universe is accelerating and time is speeding up - the second hand is accelerating (as we know from the signs all around us). I love reading letters from, and occasionally writing a letter to, the Doves - the inspiration of those who love and watch for His appearing is wonderful!!!
Daniel’s 70th Week - the Time of the End
Daniel 9:27 And he shall enter into a strong and firm covenant with the many for one week [seven years]. And in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and offering to cease [for the remaining three and one-half years];
This letter is already too long, so I will keep this part short. There are some very specific timelines mentioned in the Book of Daniel. In particular, there is a period of seven prophetic years or 2520 days, split into two periods of 1260 days. There are many prophecies to be fulfilled in this fairly short space of time (from an historical perspective). We can only grasp how this will be unveiled by understanding the Lord’s view of time. Each of the 31/2 year periods can be expanded to 453 600 000 days, or compressed to just 5.04 minutes (as per the 31/2 years of Jesus’ ministry above) - or just over ten minutes in total!!
Final Thoughts
Perfect Time for a Perfect Football Score: in Australia we play the very popular Australian Rules brand of football. The Grand Final was on Saturday 28 September 2013 in Melbourne. The official attendance was 100 007! The winning team was Hawthorn with a winning score of 11 goals (@ 6 points) and 11 behinds (@ 1 point) for a total of 77 points!! Sevens and elevens!
Completion of a Dual Highway: (Isaiah 40:3) A voice of one who cries: Prepare in the wilderness the way of the Lord [clear away the obstacles]; make straight and smooth in the desert a highway for our God. In recent months in Australia a dual highway between Sydney and Melbourne has finally been completed! This has taken decades to achieve,
This speaks to me that so much has now been put in place, in readiness for the quick work that the Lord will make across the face of the Earth - the time for the restoration of all things, the Day of the Lord - and His time! The dual highway also attests to what Derek Prince calls simply the Parallel Restoration of the Church and Israel.
Finally, I would like to point out for those who may not have noticed that emit (as in emission) is the reverse of the word time. Jesus Christ is the Light of the World - this light is moving swiftly towards us! The heavenly signs/lights such as Comet I-SON are heralding the Coming of this Light of the World.
Denis (out of time!) Maranatha!!
