REAL LOVE

        Did you ever WANT something so bad that it almost consumes you?  In fact it
did/(does?)"consume" most all of your  waking thoughts.  That phenomenon starts
in our early youth, when something we see/feel "pops" into our-inter most.  Ok, in our
Hearts. Could be an object, action, vision, or a person.  Usually it is the Love we
feel for our Mothers that is the beginning of where that sensation is born.  A GOOD
place for the introduction of what becomes a life-long experience for the Human
Heart. An obsession that, in time, transfers to other things, people, and etc.  Even
an activity can become an obsession, like w/ sports.  Say for instance a kid starts
skating at a very early age and falls in "love" w/ it and eventually becomes a Star
Hockey player. We call it "having skated in diapers".  So...  the ability to fall in "Love"
exists in ALL of us.  GOD put it there.  And HE hopes that somehow, some way, we
fall in Love w/ HIM.  HE LOVES us like that, in fact so much, that HE made it possible
for us to Love HIM back, in a way that is acceptable to HIM, through HIS SON JESUS.
That's why JESUS said that we must Love HIM more than we Love ourselves, so that
we can receive and experience the Love of the FATHER ....where TRUE LOVE really
exists.  Okay, but what about spouses ?  Lotsa Love there if it's the "real" thing. Are
we supposed to Love HIM more than our spouses?  Uh, huh !  Both of us are to Love
HIM equally and as much as we Love each other, even more actually.  Is that possible?
Sure, sure it is.  The Love we feel for our "Lover" is just a sample of the Love HE has
for us, and HE allows us to experience that Love at a "beginners" level. Just a taste.
Yummy ! (if people would only understand this about GOD, the World wouldn't be in
the mess it is).  GOD=Love,wisdom,mercy(grace),patience,and is just plain cool. It is
sad to see these youngsters of today, so self absorbed, and you know they only have
a few years left at the most. They'll never become grandparents, most likely never even get to take their kids to College. In a few years, at the most, they will probably end up being giant poop. According to Scripture, that's their odds on probable end.  Ghastly !
You know the most ironic thing about these "snowflakes" ?  All the Sci-Fi games
they are obsessed with, are going to become a reality,  and they're going to LOSE
every time. They are living in a self deluded World. It's a "dream" World they are not
willing to step out of.  The "herd" mentality keeps them locked in.  They aren't playing
against the odds of Vegas, they're playing against satan. And he isn't losing, they are.
What can we do to convince them of the Truth ?  I donno...only the HS has the Power,
and unless HE empowers us......nada !    I weep ....
