I got up early as usual, and didn't have to go to work, so I spent the morning doing stuff around the apartment, and cleaning out my van. About 11:30, I was tired and decided to lay on my bed for a nap. I found a good Crowder mix on youtube, and closed my eyes. I didn't go to sleep, but instead I began to cry, it was strange, but I knew the Spirit was coming on me. I saw a room full of people, and I knew it was a prayer meeting and they were all God's Saints. I was instructed to tell them "Go into the Spirit" . In a loud command voice I told them "go into the Spirit". They all knew what that meant. It was like a drill, like a practice, because when the real situation arose, they would have to be very fast in their responce to the command.
I asked the Lord to tell me what was this all about? He said " Isaiah 26, Battle Stations". So I got up and turned to Isaiah 26 in my bible. I read the very familiar chapter, all the way down to v.20 Come my people, enter thou into thy chambers, shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. 21. For behold the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.
I stayed in Isaiah 26 for a while. Thy dead men shall live, the birth pangs, all very familiar but somehow a new understanding. Battle Stations, like a navy warship about to go into the theater of battle, or suddenly under attack. Every sailor knows his place because they have drilled a hundred times. The alarm sounds, BATTLE STATIONS !!!
Doves, listen for the sound of alarm! BATTLE STATIONS!!! joechappell
