"To all but the
closed-minded, the Bible is a book that leaves many issues
open."
For his own good reasons, God has not revealed all of the
specifics of his plan for humanity. Many of his ways are beyond
us. It’s a reminder of our need for humility. And in the absence
of those specifics, to speak dogmatically and inflexibly about
peripheral issues is to hinder potential converts from accepting
the love of God. Our fight is not against flesh and blood
although our own personal internal battles must be won, we fight
for the faith entrusted to us that we might impart it to others
- destroying the works of the devil.
It is tempting to be manipulated by our biases and to think that
our way is the only appropriate way to understand the events of
God as they unfold. But God is bigger than our personal or
denominational views. His desire is that none should perish but
that all should come to the knowledge of - SALVATION. This is
the good news!
"My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord.
“And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just
as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher
than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts. Isaiah
