CONSIDER THAT THE 'JUBILEE YEAR' BEGINS IN THE MONTH OF NISAN......

God told Joshua to begin to keep the Jubilee when Joshua came into the Promised Land in the month of Nisan on the 10th of Nisan according to :

Leviticus 25:1

"WHEN you come into the land which I give you, THEN the land shall (begin to) keep a Sabbath to the Lord."

Joshua 4:19

"Now the people came up from the Jordan on the tenth day of the first month (Nisan which begins God's Sacred Year)..."

We know that the first month of God's Sacred Year is the month of Nisan, therefore the seventh month of His Sacred Year is the month of Tishri on which the tenth day is the Day of Atonement. Therefore we also know that the following Scripture is speaking of God's Sacred year, and NOT the Civil year. 

Leviticus 25:9

"Then you shall cause the trumpet of the Jubilee to sound ON THE TENTH DAY OF THE SEVENTH MONTH, ON THE DAY OF ATONEMENT ....."  (The Day of Atonement is on the 10th of Tishri of God's Sacred Year)

That Scripture tells us that it is speaking of God's SACRED YEAR, and NOT the Civil Year ! The trumpet sounds ONCE every forty-nine years on the Day of Atonement which is Tishri 10 in God's Sacred Year to proclaim the coming 50th Jubilee Year which BEGINS six-months later in the month of Nisan. The Jubilee Year runs concurrent with God's Sacred Year. 

Now June 7, 1967 was in the last 50th Jubilee Year which began in Nisan 1967 and ended in Nisan 1968. Year #1 of the next 49 years began in Nisan 1968. Therefore Nisan 1968 + 49 years = Nisan 2017 which is this month. . Therefore the 50th Jubilee Year begins this month in Nisan 2017 and ends in Nisan 2018. Happy Jubilee !!!
