READY OR NOT HE IS COMING -
So we have this story about 10 bridesmaids or virgins --- WHO WERE CALLED OUT TO MEET--- The Bridegroom.
Five were ready - they had plenty of oil stored up for the entire distance - Wise.
Five were not ready - They started out with oil but not enough to go the distance - Foolish.
OIL - THE PRESENSE OF GOD - AN ABUNDANT SUPPLY OF HIS HOLY SPIRIT - FULL OF LIGHT ...
When The Bridegroom delayed His return for them - They all slept
The Night comes when all work ceases -
The wise were fully prepared for His return at any moment.
The foolish figured because of the delay there was always tomorrow to get ready.
Suddenly - at midnight His coming is announced. "Come out and welcome Him."
The wise were ready - They CAME OUT TO MEET THEIR LORD and were welcomed in.
The foolish were not ready - They WOKE UP BUT WERE NOT WELCOMED IN.
THE LORD SAID TO THEM; " I DON'T KNOW YOU." "Stay awake and be prepared because you do not know the day or hour of MY return."
Having already come for The Wise - who entered IN.
The foolish are left outside " In Great Tribulation" to be gathered at His SECOND COMING.
