(Pastor Bob)This wild claim is obviously untrue because it alleges that the US Government gets NONE of its own money, and 100% goes elsewhere!!!!! If this were true, there would be no military, no social security checks for retired seniors, no welfare checks, no Government employees of any kind, because 100% of the taxes went to England or the Vatican. It would mean everyone working for the Government does not get a paycheck, because the Government has no money.
Rest assured that if 60% of your tax money went ANYWHERE, this missing money would get noticed. You might be able to slide $1 out of every million someplace where no one would notice, but not 60%.
If someone is going to invent statistics like this, you'd think they'd at least invent something where the percentage the US government gets is over 0%? I am amazed that something so obviously plucked from thin air was even offered. At http://www.usgovernmentrevenue.com/fed_revenue_2013US is an account of where the money goes. It says we took in $2.4 Trillion in 2012, $2.8T in 2013, and $3.0T in 2014. For 2013, $2.5T of that was personal income taxes of some sort, which (for 315.6 million) averages out to $7,921 per person. 60% of that would be $1.5T, and we do not have $1.5T missing and unaccounted for.
We took in $2.8T in 2013 and spent $3.5T, creating a deficit of $0.68T. Pastor Bob is alleging that the Rothchilds and Vatican are getting more money than our deficit!!!!!! 80% of our spending came from taxes and 20% came from new debt. So we failed to borrow enough to send either the Vatican or the bank bosses the level of money he is claiming we sent.
On Feb 13, 2015, the Vatican reported its total assets at $3B, which is 0.2% of what Pastor Bob alleges we sent them in 2013. The Vatican's finances are a drop in the bucket compared to that of the USA Government.
