"RE: Jovial: the whore"

Joe,
	You made some good points.
I like that you also mentioned Nineveh.
By the way, in my letter on March 20th, I never mentioned America, nor about America being a Christian nation.
My point was that ancient Babylon is not a whore against Jesus.
I mentioned that there are two cities in the book of Revelation, New Jerusalem and Mystery, Babylon.
Also that there are two women, the bride of the Lamb and the great whore.
In the old testament, when the LORD's people were being warned of judgment and the Babylonian captivity,
the wicked amongst the LORD's people were spiritually called Jerusalem, and spiritually called a whore.
Not every one of them lived in the physical city of Jerusalem when many of the prophecies were given.
Yes, right before Nebuchadnezzar besieged physical Jerusalem, many had flocked there.
In the context of whoredoms, the wicked amongst his people were collectively called Jerusalem in a spiritual sense.
So, in the new testament, the wicked in the churches are collectively called Mystery, Babylon.
I'm wondering if the whore is collectively all the wicked and apostate in the churches.
However, I would agree that most of the wicked in the churches seem to be here in America.
Yet, certainly not all the wicked and apostate in the churches are in the US.
Will the US churches be judged symbolically representing all the wicked in all the churches, I don't know.
