"Gino: There is a fellow named "Death""

Revelation 20:14  Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire.

I had never thought of “death” being a “personality” (for lack of a better word), I thought it was just a phenomenon, the cessation of life.  But I had a tragic experience that made “death” become a real entity for me.

Decades ago, I had a little Lhasa Apso puppy whom I absolutely adored and he loved me, too.  One day I let him outside to play in the backyard.  I never gave a thought to our swimming pool.  I always thought, “Dogs can swim, can’t they?”  I was inside, looked out the back window, and saw waves moving in the swimming pool.  It was February, no one is swimming in February.  I hoped it was a squirrel.

I went out to the pool, and there was my beloved puppy on the bottom of the deep end of the pool, quite dead.  I screamed horribly.  It was when I was outside by the pool, I sensed the presence of DEATH, and it was a “person”.  It was there, in my back yard, and it took my puppy’s life.

On a happier note, afterwards I prayed to God about “Rocky”, asking if he was in heaven, and immediately saw a vision of Rocky wearing a little red cowboy bandana tied around his neck, with the point down on his chest.  (I never put a bandana on him.)  HE WAS SEATED ON THE THRONE AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD.  A few months later, I prayed and asked the Lord again, “Is Rocky in heaven?”  And I saw him again, with the same red bandana, but he was a few months older and his hair had grown longer.  [For anybody who doesn’t know, Lhasa Apso’s hair will grow to the floor if not clipped.]  I would never have imagined these things.

But, back to the point, yes, I believe “death” is a real spirit.

Maranatha!
