Gino,
I think that this heaven rolling up like a scroll is an allusion to the
revelation of Jesus on the throne in heaven, and the "temple" in heaven
where the Ark of HIS testimony is located. Read the seventh trumpet.

It seems to me that this is a veil being removed which has concealed the
heavenly realm, whether this is the sky/atmosphere, or the firmament of
the stars.
