I am in the process of reading and exploring the

It reminds of much I have read on Crocker
Explorations of the North and Arctic, including Devon
Island & Crocker Land
(Crocker Island)
I'm a big fan of this type of study. It is
correct that The English Sailed West WAAAAAAY Before
Columbus (so I say).... Actually, Columbus was a real
"latecomer" to the whole scene and just a cover up
& distraction from the real History of the world.
There is much to read on both, but here is an
interesting touch on the topic and even a map showing
Devon and Crocker together on the same image:
