"Marilyn Agee"
I should have commented on your study when I posted earlier but
old age is getting the better of me!
I've come to the conclusion that the Julian calendar (which I
can't seem to figure out) is the better calendar to use when it
comes to feast days. Hence your coming up with May 5th settles
very well with me.
I realize that scripture trumps all but since the Lord has had
me on a diet (over the last 4 years) of "repentance", my spirit
seems to guide me in a greater way.
Sorry about the detour. My favorite time for us to go home would
be Pentecost. I too, along with others, believe the bride is the
2 loaves of bread presented to the Father. Christ was the barley
offering. Somehow I don't believe that Pentecost is yet
fulfilled. And since God is a God of order....it seems
reasonable to expect the conclusion of one feast before moving
onto the last three. Now He may accomplish more than one at the
same time but that's my two cents.
BTW, the Orthodox Easter as you said is May 5th. Ascension is
June 13th and Pentecost is June 23rd.
I don't care when.....I just want to be ready. He deserves that.
Blessings.....Steve W2
