"Rudy, most of the
Republicans are still opposed to "marriage equality""
Not that I'm praising Republicans--most of our politicians seem
to be failing--but to be fair, most of the Republicans in
congress are on the opposite side from the Dems on this one.
You point out, rightly, that the Democrats are gradually, one by
one, coming out in favor of homosexual marriage. It was
down to six, and you pointed out that this was four less than
the "ten righteous men" that Abraham bargained for. Now
it's down to four Democrats resisting legalization of gay
marriage. It's pathetic, I agree. But those Repubs
are still there!
This is a hard one for me. I have had homosexual friends
in the past (none now) and I believe they are often born that
way. they have a hard life, being this way, if they
resist. But we have to say that gay marriage is NOT the
answer God would want. He probably wants them to resist
their gay nature, become more than that, a very hard path.
He has called them to heroism.
He has called them to austerity. I have no right to
comment, as I don't share that temptation. But I just know
God does not want "gay marriage", if we consult the Bible.
What a mess our national life has become. We desperately
need the Lord.
