Barry, I agree that I, too, have lots and lots of Scripture that comes to mind.  However, I can't seem to cite where it's located in the Bible.  But when I need a Scripture, the Holy Spirit brings these passages to mind for my help.

We took a course called "Growing Kids God's Way," and one section of this course talks about the "moral warehouse." It tells us we need to put Scripture constantly in our brain so that the Holy Spirit CAN bring it forward when we need it. The premise was that if it isn't in the mind, how can the Holy Spirit bring it forward to use it when it's needed?  Also, I tell my kids "Garbage in; garbage out."  But put God's Word in your mind and God's word comes out the mouth.
