A few days ago, I thought Satan might be cast out into the Earth before we are caught up. Now, I think I know better. We have to go up first. Otherwise Satan would not be there to accuse us before God day and night.

We win because those sins he accuses us of are under the blood of Christ. Then he is cast out.

Jacob’s trouble is one literal day. Jer_30:7 says, "Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it."

Will do, as long as I am able.  Right now, I'm ok, but my blood glucose and my blood pressure are too high. The doctor just upped my medicine for Diabetes. David, my son, just said that everyone is amazed that at 84, I just keep going and going and going, like that bunny on TV. I'm 24 years older than he is and he is feeling older than he is. I told him that the Lord is doing it because of what I'm into.

It will be nice to be made perfect. Heb_12:23 says, "To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect".

Hi Marilyn....

First let me say that I appreciate you so much. You writings over the years have allowed me to gain such wonderful insights. All because of a heart that desires Jesus. Thank you.

A quick comment on my view of pre-trib. The Bible never calls the last week of Jacob's troubles as being the tribulation. It does picture the build up to the great Tribulation or the first 3 1/2 years as "pain and sorrow" and "birth pangs". But "only" man has added that first 3 1/2 into the tribulation period.

As we all know Daniel's prophecy is for the Israel and not specifically the church. However....since the end is the 2nd coming and the 1000 year reign of Christ...I'd say we can piggy back off that time frame and guess when the rapture will occur. Unlike my thoughts over that last few years...I firmly believe today we can only guess (and may be close) to knowing the day but not the hour.

Sorry....went down a side trail there. I believe and this is me only, that pre-trib and mid-trib are one in the same. As others have pointed out over the years here on fivedoves, that Jesus continues being our Advocate until He no longer needs to be. When is that? When Satan is thrown out of heaven and no longer has access through the back door, so to speak, to the throne. That happens just before the Great Tribulation and at the pre 3 1/2 year mark. It's also closely associated with the brides' going home. I believe He's at the door. Only those with pure hearts will enter.
