Cinda,
I have just read your report back on Spencer, and glad to hear of  your doggie's recovery.
We live in a small village, where there is no animal care from national institutions like SPCA. (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty of Animals)

About 3 years ago my wife felt she should get involved with Township dogs. Perhaps I should explain; in South Africa there is to every village, town or small settlement, is aTownship know as "location", where the  poor black folks live off the land in a sustainable manner.
However, when it comes to care for pets; particularly dogs, there is fundamentally no education or animal care, so that is where we  sterilize, educate owners, and make sure the dogs are well care for. We raise money, and open kennels to rehabilitate or re-home dogs.
To date, we now see the benefits of demonstrating that pets create social harmony and goodwill amongst under privileged communities.
Please find attached pics of what we are doing...DISTEMPER Is a serious virus that is currently virulent in our district.
Sadly Cinda, we recently had to put down quite a few dogs.
It is all part of our offering to our Lord in a positive way.

News time again….                             Newsletter 2

.It would be a sad day if we find no animals in heaven. Our blessing assurance is that all who love Him, and look for His appearing, shall include the "covering" of our pets, and will enjoy the same in heaven.

Blessings in Jesus name,
