"In Resonse to Bruce's Post About the Mystery in the Bible"

Dear Ones,

I, too, have been checking out scriptures that seemed not to make sense or seemed weird.

The mystery is that DNA, blood types, and Rh factor has become widely known in this last generation, unlike past generations, hence we are able to understand the mystery. The Bible tells us that the life is in the blood. It is the blood of Jesus that saves us. Communion points to his body and his blood. In this generation DNA, stem cells, genetics, cloning, etc., is common knowledge. Through the Internet the world has great knowledge at their fingertips today. The Internet has become widely used in the generation since 1948.

Ever wonder about the virgin birth? Jesus blood has 24 chromosomes, 23 from Mary, and 1 other. The 1 other is the "y" chromosome contributed by God, which determined that Jesus is male. This proves, scientifically that Jesus is without a doubt the Son of God.

In Genesis, when the daughters of man had children with the sons of God (created angels -- not the same as Jesus who was fully man and fully God by virtue of his DNA) the DNA changed in a way that God had never intended for them. Angels and mankind are eternal beings. Man was given woman as a companion and they were to become one flesh (join their DNA). They were told not to do one thing -- eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil -- or they would surely die. The tree and its fruit was forbidden to mankind. Eve's eyes were opened and then she chose poorly. She joined her DNA or became one flesh with an angel, the most beautiful/handsome one. We are told that Lucifer/Satan was in the garden with Eve. The woman's child would be a man/angel combination who knew good and evil -- disobedience to God entered the world. Before that occurred man and God dwelled in the garden together. Man had relationship with God.

God is holy and loving. He could not allow mankind to live forever in sin and evil -- God loved us too much to allow us the pain and misery that sin and evil bring upon the world and all mankind. God shortened our life spans and death entered the world. In the Bible it says that man used to live much longer -- 900 years, etc. I always wondered what this meant because it seemed so unbelievable.

However, it did not end there. God provided the cure -- the way back to restoring the relationship between God and mankind that had been lost. Jesus came to restore, redeem, save mankind. Since we have the freewill to obey or rebel against God, we must choose whether or not we are going to take the cure.

The Bible tells us the way to God is through Jesus. The cure is so simple (but not easy). We must set aside our pride and accept the free gift of salvation. It is hard to admit we need someone to save us! We want to do it ourselves and believe that if we are good, nice, kind, responsible, and helpful that we will go to heaven. We may try to fit God into our idea or mold of what God should be like and simply don't believe that a good, loving God would send us to hell. He doesn't send us -- we send ourselves through the exercise of our freewill to chose to reject Him. We may even believe that God is fairy tale like Santa and the Easter Bunny and go about our lives pretending that God doesn't exist. We may even care about God at all and live with as much sin in our lives as we can possibly cram in -- drugs, drunkeness, casual sex, cheating, porn, stealing, killing.

To receive the best free gift ever, we talk to God and we admit that we have sinned, that Jesus died in our place for our sins, that Jesus rose from the dead (proving He is God), ask Him into our hearts to be Lord of our lives. We then choose to be baptized to declare to others that we have accepted the gift. The Holy Spirit living in our hearts transform us. He is faithful to complete the work He starts in you.

The Bible tells us about the last generation. The key to determining which generation this is is Israel (God's chosen people). Israelites were forced from Israel and scattered all over the world for a many, many years until 1948 when they returned and the nation of Israel was reborn. Israel shows God's timeline for the end times. Check out the Bible, Daniel and Revelation to start, and ask yourself if these things have been happening around us at an increasing rate. Think back to your Grandparents' generation. Would they not be shocked by the evil things that are happening today in comparison to "the good old days"? Turn on the news, read the paper, listen to the radio, read a magazine, search the Internet. Compare Internet searches with what the Bible says. Checkout these things for yourself.

The Bible tells us if, as a nation, we repent of our sins and pray to God to heal our land, that things might be different. This is not happening. Instead, churches are full of corruption, evil is increasing by the day, hatred is being stirred up between races, we are kept so busy these days that we don't have a chance to even think about God or be thankful for His many blessings upon us.

I sincerely believe that the time is very short and that God will withdraw His blessing from our land. The Bible promises believers that they will escape this time of wrath. With all that is in my heart, my prayer is that you will turn to God and accept Jesus' free gift of salvation. It's not about religion, it's about a personal relationship with God. It is personal between you and Him because He loves you so much that if you had been the only person on earth in need of redemption, Jesus would have endured all of the pain and suffering of the cross just to save you.

The Bible tells us that if you seek Him with all your heart, you will find Him. My prayer is that you would take these things to heart, seek Him, and find Him. The day of salvation is now -- please don't wait.

Lost sheep, once you find Him, He will become your Shepherd.

Much love and many prayers,

Joan
