Recently I have been compelled to look up the meanings of names of those I know.  This can be done by searching "meaning of the first name (list name you want to look up).  You can do this for last names as well.  If you know a person's middle name also it reveals more.

I always wondered why God changed people's names the the Bible.  He has given me insight into this by looking up the meaning of names.
