Zephaniah Day of Judgment Rapture
The name Zephaniah means “he whom the Lord has hidden”.
Has our deliverance come? Zephaniah tells of a day, the Day of the Lord. Meanings taken directly from Strong’s Concordance, definitions and noted related words. Please read the scripture, here from the KJV. (PS. Try the Amplified for study: )
Zephaniah Ch 1
7 Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord GOD: for the day of the LORD is at hand: for the LORD hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests.
8 And it shall come to pass in the day of the LORD'S sacrifice, that I will punish the princes, and the king's children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel.
[The day of the Lord’s sacrifice is Passover. Perhaps we cannot know what day historically due to Second Passover. Strange apparel compared to those who have washed their garments in Christ’s blood.]
9 In the same day also will I punish all those that leap on the threshold, which fill their masters' houses with violence and deceit.
10 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD, that there shall be the noise of a cry from the fish gate, and an howling from the second, and a great crashing from the hills.
[On that day is heard a “shrieking proclamation” from the “vibrating door” in heaven. The word for fish actually connotes the vibration of the flapping fish tail while the word for gate is also a (opening) door. All matter has an internal vibratory frequency. It is thought that our translation may be a change of our vibrating frequency to another matching that of our Father’s realm. Then a second cry is heard, followed by the breaking of the hills.]
11 Howl, ye inhabitants of Maktesh, for all the merchant people are cut down; all they that bear silver are cut off.
[The globalist bankers are the merchants? Silver was more precious then gold in early times.]
12 And it shall come to pass at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with candles, and punish the men that are settled on their lees: that say in their heart, The LORD will not do good, neither will he do evil.
[To prepare for Passover the Hebrews search their homes thoroughly for leaven with a candle for extra light. The Lord will search for the sin in homes lacking faith.]
16 A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers.
[The word for trumpet here is shofar]
17 And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung.
[The blind men are like those in Sodom with Lot, blinded by the angels, when they attempted to molest them.]
2:1 Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired;
2 Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before the day of the LORD'S anger come upon you.
3 Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD'S anger.
[The gathering must occur before the fierce anger of the Lord is poured out. If one seeks the Lord through righteousness and humility one might be hidden from the Lord’s anger. This is how we understand “rapture”.]
3:8 Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.
9 For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent.
[He will gather the nations as foretold at the end of Revelation. In the Megiddo valley the Lord will destroy them and usher in the Millennial Kingdom. This is when a pure Hebrew identity returns and the people will worship their Messiah.]
Therefore we continue to wait. The Lord may use a different calendar, though the lunar eclipse tetrad dates and 20th century events indicate otherwise. Also, there may be a three day period similar to Jesus’ death to resurrection; the “third day”. Pray to continue to wait in expectation and be counted worthy to be hidden in His protection.
In Love,
GM
