Hello 5Doves,
It is very important to differentiate in scripture. An
example would be the sons of God in Genesis 6, and
christians who are now known as sons of God. Failure to
differentiate between these two groups of sons of God,
would lead to serious fundamental errors in doctrine.
Another example is Israel, there is the bloodline
descendants of Abraham (National Israel), and christians
who have become heirs to the promises of Abraham via
adoption (Spiritual Israel). A failure to differentiate
between these two Israel's lead to the teaching of
replacement theology.
Which
now brings me to the reason I am writing the letter... the
temple. There is a literal temple which has been destroyed
2x already. Then there is our bodies, the temple in which
the Holy Spirit resides.
2
Thessalonians 2:4 Who opposeth
and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or
that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the
temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
This verse above is the abomination of
desolation. To teach this "temple" is our bodies, is
assigning Antichrist an attribute only God has...
omnipresense. Since this abomination would have to be
performed in the body of every human being on the
planet.
