Another great example, is Exodus 8:8-10. Pharoah has endured the Frog plague. Frogs in his pots and pans, covering the floor, filling his bed. He pleads to have them gone. Moses asks "When?" Pharoah says "tomorrow." He wants one more night with frogs in his bed ? ? This scripture teaches several key points. Scripture explains scripture, for one . What are Frogs ? In Revelation 16:13, they are demonic spirits. So Pharoah is like a man "agreeing" to repent but just at some time in the distant future , not immediately. A second lesson is that Odd scriptures are IMPORTANT ; meditate upon them.They teach great things.

Song of Solomon mentions "Secret of the Stairs".SOS 2:14. This refers to Benjamin. It also refers to the number 153 and Gen 28:16." Surely the Lord is in this place and I knew it not..  " The gemetria of 153x8 = 1224 the value of the verse and 153 makes a step like structure. It refers to Jacob's dream, the ladder, with angels going up and down, extending from Heaven downward. The ladder is the roll of scripture as it is two wooden rods, parallel, like a ladder. Originally scripture was on rolls, with two rods to roll it from each end. The crosspieces of a ladder are like the words of scripture going perpendicular to the two rods. Man places his hands and feet on the words of scripture, the crosspieces, as he climbs toward heaven. His grip may slide, like a ladder, so hold on firmly to the words, like the cross pieces of the ladder. This is a deep, rich, passage, a  mystery rarely commented upon.

The floating axe head of 2Kings6:5-7 is full of teaching.The ax is inanimate, dead, not living. It is covered by the Jordan River, a type of death. It is like a man in sin, covered by death but he does not know it. Now the cure, as the verses provide a cure. Sticks are cast into the Jordan's mix of death and the dead thing floats, it becomes lively and is recovered. What are sticks ? A branch is a stick, the Messiah is the Branch cut down, broken for the  cure of dead.

Balaam and the speaking ass......I would love to see what this means. And the Jawbone of an Ass. A weird weapon. Perhaps they refer to a current political party symbol ? A political party as Ted Porter so artfully says that is managed by a "Lawless One".For anyone who has not read Porter's" Lawless ONE", it is posted on this Fivedoves site....outstanding. He mentions there another MYSTERY, how the Lord numbers every man's name, all names are numbered for good or bad. The Good names of scripture are a factor of 8, the bad names of scripture always divisible by 13 For example, all 36 Bible names of Satan divide by 13.... except for one, Mr 666. Another, similar catagory, is when scriptures seem to conflict.Bible critics and skeptics love these. But they are there to draw our attention.They are God Breathed, not errors. I will stop for now.
