"You wouldnt believe what happened today....contaminated McDonalds water bottle....just a cautionary tale"

This is a heads-up for safety....and Mcdonalds customers!  April 9th I stopped at our local McDonalds to pick up a quick snack for the kids, and a bottled water for me.  I never ended up drinking it so I put it in fridge.  While housecleaning today, I was thirsty, so I grabbed that bottle (Zephyrhills), unscrewed the top, and threw back a big gulp of RUBBING ALCOHOL!!!!  I swallowed it as a reflex, then spent the next 20 min. or so vomiting, and crying because my mouth and throat felt like they were on FIRE!!  The top was firmly closed, but I never considered studying the seal to see if it opens...who does?  Had to call poison control, fill out a police report, as well as Mc D's headquarters. The police went over to the place I got it from (grammar? LOL) in order to have the manager check the supply of bottles.  Who knows WHERE it was done-the point is, I have seen moms mix formula in those bottles!  Can you imagine how awful it would be to have an INFANT swallow it?  It is painful and possibly very dangerous!  In case anyone was wondering, I had the officer leave my name off of the report, so no one would think I was looking to scam the company or sue, etc.  I just want everyone in charge to double and triple check to keep kids (and adults) from possible bodily harm.  Also, if you have these bottled waters in your fridge, please double check the seal on them for safety's sake!  Yours in Christ: Tracydee
