Dear John and Doves -My friend and our sister Sarah Beveridge has started a new blog. It may be controversial.Many within the church take exception to the idea that there may be a distinction of roles within the body of Christ, or as I put it, that the Bride of Christ is a subset of the Body of Christ; that the church is all the saved, but not all of the church are part of the Bride of Christ. This leads to questions regarding the rapture, or the possibility of more than one rapture event. Sadly, it also leads to confusion.I'm not interested in adding to the confusion, nor is Sarah. However, Paul speaks explicitly of a "higher calling" and also of striving to attain a "better resurrection" and it is these ideas that Sarah will be exploring.I've followed her blog in the past at Believer's Journey. I believe she is humble and rock-solid and I wanted to make your readership aware of this new resource.Also, our friend Steve King has posted some ruminations of Julia, suggesting that the upcoming annular eclipse on May 20th could signal our departure.
