Robert Belanger, I
disagree with what you submitted (gay/Christian
website) and here's why: Romans 1: 26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10; Acts 15:28-29; 1 Tim 1:10;
Titus 1:16; Jude 1: 4,7,19; Rev. 21:27; Leviticus
18:12 & 20:13; Deut 23:17.
The two terms, "gay" and "Christian," are mutually
exclusive and incompatible. Yes, I realize
that's not politically correct, but it is Biblically
correct. Jesus compared His return to the days
of Noah and the days of Lot (Sodom)...in other words,
the increase and acceptance of homosexuality would be
one of the major signs we're in the end
times. Luke 17: 29-30.
Sonny, my heart goes out
to you. Personally, I don't understand
homosexuality and have never experienced it.
However, I've known a few people (family, friends)
with sons in that lifestyle and the one common
denominator is molestation in their youth. The
New Testament does offer a message of love to the
homosexual who wants to repent and come out of that
lifestyle. Here are some sources that might help
you.

Another factor from my
experience as a close observer of the "ex-gay"
phenomenon is that many former homosexuals do
not linger in "reparative
therapy" programs, or
participate in them at all. They attribute their
dramatic and (relatively) rapid transformation
to the power of God, and likely would not show
up in a study of this kind. In fact, these
"unstudied" overcomers would appear to be the
most successful ex-homosexuals because they've
moved on with their lives - as "reborn"
Christians move on after overcoming any
besetting sin. |
