Last night, April 18, I went outside in the yard.  There in the sky was Venus with a halo around it.  It was like a "snow ring" on the Moon.  I believe snow rings are caused by
a change in the moisture in the air.  I don't believe we had much moisture in our air here in the high desert last night.  It was dry as it usually is, and I was watering the grass.

This was very beautiful, Venus with a halo.  Venus has been bright and apparently close for some time, but I have not seen it with a halo before.
