"Rapture Shown to Be On Pentecost (May 26-27, 2012)"

Dear Friends,

I went searching the Internet for articles to support the Pentecost date in 2012 as the time for the rapture of the Bride of Christ. Here are some of the more interesting articles for your consideration.
       ------------
The year 2012 qualifies as the start of the 70th week of Daniel. Read the following site for the full argument.
Dr. Finley shows that the metonic cycle starting at RH 2011 is acceptable as the 70th week of Daniel, because it contains 86 moons in seven years starting at RH 2011. The year starting on RH 2011 (including the months from January 1 to September 17/18 of 2012) contains 86 moons and can be considered an acceptable candidate for the 70th week of Daniel.

The above article presents an argument to support the belief that Pentecost will be the time of the rapture. Here are a few quotes.
"The closing parallels of this Age of Gentile favor give us the unmistakable countdown to the particular Pentecost for the Rapture!”
“Thus the Age of the Law was opened by the Passover and also closed by the Passover. As Passover was to Israel—so Pentecost is to the Church!”
“The Dispensation of the Grace of God will follow a similar course as did the Dispensation of Law from the very beginning to the very end. The dispensational comparisons in Paul's letters trace this out in detail.”
“Thus the apostasy of the Gentile Age was marked by the Holocaust with their ‘crucifixion of the Jews.’ Even then, the Jewish nation was ‘resurrected’ exactly three years later. This is actual history which has unfolded right before our very eyes. The only way to properly interpret the meaning of that history is in light of the prophetic Word of God.”
“The Apostle Paul makes it very plain that the Feast of Pentecost is prophetic of the Rapture of the Church. My study on ‘The Pentecostal Rapture of the Church’ proves that conclusively.”

In the following article Pentecost is selected for the rapture since the other six feasts are for the Jews, and only Pentecost is for both Jew and Gentile members of the Church.
“Another item that I find interesting enough to consider about the feasts and the timing of the rapture is that the first three feasts were fulfilled by Christ at His first coming, the last three feasts will be fulfilled by Christ in events surrounding His second coming, and the one feast left (in the middle - Pentecost) is mainly associated with the church.
“We should further note that Pentecost is a celebration of the wheat harvest and consider the parable of separating the wheat from the chaff. Could Pentecost be the time of that separation - taking the wheat (the believers/church) away and leaving the chaff (sinners/unbelievers)? All I can say is that only time will tell.”

In the following article, the author shows how the book of Ruth and the springtime of the year are suggestive of the rapture.
“Ruth, the gentile bride, was married to Boaz on Pentecost. It was around midnight that she came to lay at his feet at the end of the barley harvest. When Solomon came to fetch his bride, in the Song of Solomon, chapter 2, verses 10-13 he said ‘Rise up my love and come away with me for the voice of the turtledove is heard in the land and the fig tree hath put forth its green figs.’
“These are statements pointing to Pentecost. We know it was Springtime because of the voice of the turtledove being heard in the land, but more specifically the reference to Pentecost is seen in the green figs. According to Jewish tradition, Pentecost was the day when the fruit of the trees was judged.”

In the following article we see how Pentecost fills the need to seal a group of people.
“When God has a need to 'seal' a group of people again in the future for like purpose, to make a new offering, with Christ as it's substance, the feast of Pentecost will once again be the Feast, 'set time', He will use.”

------------

In the following article we see how Pentecost is the time of change in all previous dispensations, or ages.
“I tend to believe that all 6 dispensations in the past changed on Shavuot (Pentecost). The dispensation that we are living in now ends with the rapture of the Church. This age of grace might change in the Pentecost area. History tends to repeat itself.”

In the following article, we see the comparison of the rapture to the time of Noah can lead to the conclusion that the date of the rapture will be Pentecost (and from the first reference in this list, we see that 2012 is a viable candidate year).
“If the literal calculations are correct, God's people as typified by Noah will finally step onto the dry ground, which is Heaven, 56 days later on May 26th, 2012. The evening of this very day will begin the feast day of Pentecost or First Fruits, which may add some support for the End date of May 26th, 2012 since it has been well known how major historical events are typically keyed to the exact dates of the biblical feast days.”
