"Dear sister Amy Re: messages to the Ephesians"

Dear sister Amy,

Putting aside (for now) the fact that you addressed only one of the approximately half dozen differences I presented in the ‘Ephesus – One Church – Two Dispensations’ document (and then claimed the messages ‘matched’),  thanks for reminding me that believers in Jesus overcome the world.  There are a few instances in Revelation  Rev. 11:7; 13:7; 17:14; (and a bunch in the rest of the New Testament) where ‘overcome’ doesn’t equal ‘belief’ however.

Granting that ‘overcometh’ in the letters to the Churches in Revelation does equal belief/faith, this points out yet two other differences I hadn’t made note of.

First, the promises and reprimands in the seven letters are mostly conditional (or else I will … remove thy candlestick;  be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life; If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief).   There are no conditions to be met in Paul’s letter the Ephesians.

Second, the promises to the overcomers in Revelation all have a future fulfillment (He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed; Him that overcometh will I make a pillar; To him that overcometh will I give to eat).  In Paul’s letter to the Ephesians, his fantastic promises are a ‘done deal’, it’s already accomplished !!! (who hath blessed us; he hath chosen us; Having predestinated us unto the adoption; he hath made us accepted; we have obtained an inheritance ….)

Along with the letter to the Ephesians, another of  Paul’s post Acts epistles is the letter to the Colossians wherein he also mentions the Mystery hidden from other ages and generations (Col.1:26)  In it you will find:

Col.2:10
And ye are complete in him (Christ), which is the head of all principality and power: (there's that word pleroo again)

There's nothing in any of the seven letters in Revelation that even hints at such grace and acceptance.

Sorry Amy, those messages don’t match, they are not even close !!!!!!!
