After 2669 years not having been a free, independent nation (since 721 BC), Israel returned in 1948!  Ignored by many churches, its return in the distant future (our recent past, 1948) is prophesied about many places in the Old and New Testaments!  Empires of long ago that persecuted the Jewish people now lie in dust, yet Israel survives!  And in 1948 a clock began ticking, and now nearly 64 years later a huge war is brewing in the Middle East.  When Israel launches against Iran many countries will be drawn into this conflict, and very likely at that time the Rapture will occur, and those who truly know Israel's long-rejected Messiah will rise to leave this earth!  For those who are left on earth, at the culmination of that war the antichrist will arrive on the global scene to make a false peace.  Then a 7 year countdown will begin to the Second Coming of Christ (Israel's Messiah), Who will sit on the throne of King David and rule from Jerusalem for the next 1000 years!
