"respond to Patrick"

Hi Patrick
Thank you so much for your comments. I really appreciate the post that I have read by you also.It is hard to find a "true believer" that will stand up against the false teachings of today. Mainly the ones that teach we must somehow help Jesus save us. It is crazy and I really feel that if they have "never" trusted Jesus alone they have missed the "boat" or should I say "rapture". If they find themselves left behind wondering what happen I hope they will remember what you have written and others about salvation by Jesus alone.
For a person to think that once he is saved he "quits sinning" is just hard for me to grasp from my study of scripture. But the churches today have planted all this. Even the Baptist (i attended Baptist church for a long time) will tell you that " oh yes I believe in Jesus only" BUT then will say if a person does a certain "bad sin" they will say "well he must not of been saved to begin with".

I know that you understand what I am saying. I am not saying I use my freedon to go out sinning freely. Because if I do God will certainly "chastise" me. But I will never lose my salvation.

thanks
Mike W
