I do not know much about being a homosexual. I do not know much about being a murderer. I do know I have my own problems with my old nature. The Holy Spirit works with me daily on my own problems.

 

Now I will admit I despise the act of homosexuals because it is just not natural. IWhen the media is always trying to push it down our throat it is despicable. BUT a homosexual CANNOT stop that sin without FIRST becoming a born again believer. A born again believer is someone who BELIEVES that Jesus died for his sins and that he was buried and that he rose from the grave.So many times today people are told to turn from their sins and accept Jesus and than follow in his footsteps. Well is that person then saved. I do not know but probably not. The only way the Holy Spirit enters into or is baptized into a person is if that person totally accepts Jesus and Jesus only for the payment of his sins. If he is still depending on what he can do than he is making Jesus payment not totally complete.

 

So we have a problem. Maybe a reason so many people who calls themselves Christians have never really accepted Christ payment ALONE. So they have never been sealed with the Holy Spirit. So they have no way of combating that sin of homosexual or adultrey or gossip.

 

A more better way to lead someone to Christ is to tell him the Gospel of grace which was given to Paul by Jesus himself. then if he accepts Jesus payment in full for his sins the Holy Spirit will seal him forever. At this point he will have plenty of help to avoid the sins he is committing. He may never quit them completely because the old sinful body is still fighting him. However he now has help with the Holy Spirit dwelling in him (or her)

 

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Ephesians 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

 

Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise,
