Well said, and I stand reminded of Romans chapters 6, 7, & 8. Freedom from the law and Life in the spirit. Romans 7:24.......O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?  7: 25........I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with flesh the law of sin.
 
The Bible is clear as to Jesus fulfilling the law and redeeming us from death by grace. You are correct to call to attention that we are free from the law. I worship in spirit, so with my mind I serve the law of God.
