Hi brother in Christ
A memory bell rang and I seem to remember the main ingredient of marzipan is almond essence?- but I may be wrong!
My guess on your choice- here in Australia the almond tree is the first to blossom signaling winter is almost over and spring is around the corner- and I know the hopes for spring!
How did I do?
My choice? Just plain chocolate- milk, dark or white- go figure :)
