Hello, John and Doves,There are those that say, "According to Your Word, come Lord Jesus!"What they really mean is, "According to My Word, come Lord Jesus."Why is that? Because whatever they say, they believe they cannot whatsoever be wrong.This is called being self-deceived. How much worse for them will it be when the Captain of the Hosts of Israel sends strong delusion upon the whole world?It is written,"9The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, 10and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie 12and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness."Guess what? The lawless one has been revealed, though not as the instead-of messiah yet.[Please see the home page of Five Doves for many excellent posts.]Maybe that's why there are false brethren here and there who falsely proclaim that God is yet gonna give Israel, His first-born son, a whippin' and a tar and featherin'. May there be no false brethren on Five Doves!Maybe that's why some true brethren can't make the first Rapture. [I'm being snarky. Anyone left behind was "not exactly" true.] They won't come out and say it, but their own weighing of their own shortcomings makes them hate the Jews. They figure there's more to go around if the Jews don't get any. They'll make any excuse to try to prove they're right. They'll even go so far as to say that you and they are "on the same page," but that comment is disingenuous, seeing as they do not care to listen and understand you and add your substance to their ignorance.No matter. They shall answer to the Most High. When God issues a 'standing order' to them, He expects it to be carried out to the letter. He will not entertain weak excuses.It is written,"They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them."Paul says,"6Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient. 7Therefore do not be partners with them. 8For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light 9(for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) 10and find out what pleases the Lord. 11Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. 12For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. 13But everything exposed by the light becomes visible, 14for it is light that makes everything visible. This is why it is said:“Wake up, O sleeper,
rise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you.”
15Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, 16making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. 17Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is."
John says,"This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all."If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:"But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin."If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us."If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us."I guess I answered my own question.
