If you have never reviewed the Rapture Index at www.raptureready.com, I suggest you do at some point.  The index is at or near its highest level since it began a few decades ago (182 versus an all-time high of 184):

What I find fascinating about this index is how closely the numerical values contained match Ron Reese, Gerry Almond and others (including me) thoughts on what we will see before the Rapture AND what we would NOT expect to see.

 

What we should see before the Rapture:

 

-                     Economic Turmoil

 

-                     Rising and uniting of world powers (U.N., NATO, NWO, Globalism)

 

-                     Anti-Christian leadership (Obama and SO many others)

 

-                     Low moral standards (abortion, drug use, crime)

 

-                     Disdain for God’s elect (Israel, Jerusalem, Anti-Semitism)

 

-                     Natural Disasters (Earthquakes, wild weather, volcanoes)

 

As expected, these are all things we are seeing and are EXACTLY as expected.  The fact that this is happening as expected is fully reflected in the Rapture Index, each with very high values (4s and 5s are the two highest categories in this particular index).

 

What we won’t necessarily see before the Rapture:

 

However, just as interestingly, there are several things on this index with low values (2s and 3s in this particular index).  The fact that they are included as watch items means that the makers of this index had expected to see these things BEFORE the Rapture.  However, in general, it also “just happens” that these are also the same things that have many people hung up about us NOT being almost at the beginning of the Great Tribulation*, saying it could even still be years away.

 

*  Note:  I cannot stress enough that we do not believe that the Tribulation Period has started AT ALL!!  Indeed, what we are seeing in the world today is merely the lead up, or stage setting, for the VERY soon entrance of the Anti-Christ as the NWO leader.  In other words, “we ain’t seen NOTHING yet”!!

 

Despite there inclusion on this index, here are some of the things we don’t NECESSARILY expect to see before the Rapture:

 

-                     Signs of ACTUAL rising of the Anti-Christ, False Prophet, Mark of the Beast and the Beast Government as they simply won’t come into there own until AFTER we are gone (the restrainer will restrain until REMOVED in the Rapture)

 

-                     Satanism is rising but won’t really come into vogue until AFTER we are gone.  Even then, people will believe that good is evil and evil is good and won’t see it as Satanism, but rather as WORSHIP!!

 

-                     The Tribulation Temple is not a necessary component of the end times, despite what a lot of well meaning prophecy experts believe.  If you go “back to the basics” and see what the Scripture ACTUALLY says, you will see why MANY OTHER respected scholars do not believe that a Temple is a pre-requisite AT ALL, but just one of many possibilities!!

 

-                     The Seven Year Peace Treaty is another “nice to have” that we will never actually see.  Why?  It’s “requirement” is a simple, but common, misinterpretation of Daniel 9:27.  Daniel 9:27 could also mean an abundance of other things, wherein a Seven Year Peace Treaty with Israel was just one of MANY possibilities and NOT a “must have” (and won’t be)

 

So then, does this Rapture Index back up what we are saying that we should NOT see?  Absolutely!  Here are the lowest rated items on the Rapture Index, wherein we are not at all surprised to see so low for the reasons as outlined above:

 

-                     Peace Process

 

-                     Tribulation Temple

 

-                     False Christ

 

-                     Occult

 

-                     Satanism

 

-                     False Prophet

 

-                     Liberalism

 

-                     Mark of the Beast

 

-                     Beast Government

 

-                     The Anti-Christ

 

-                     Plagues

 

-                     Supernatural

 

Some of these things MAY be seen AFTER the Rapture, some MUST be seen AFTER the Rapture, but there is no reason ANY of these things HAVE to be seen BEFORE the Rapture!!

 

Conclusion:  Please keep looking up!!  If the Index only contained things we SHOULD expect BEFORE the Rapture, it would be all 4s & 5s!!  Surely, the Lord will not be tarrying much longer!!  MARANATHA!!
