Yes, I’ve thought
about that too, that we
could be near the end of the first half of the seven years
spoken of in Daniel 9:27, and if so, then we could expect
the anti-Christ to be revealed soon along with the
appearance of the two witnesses, which would put our
Lord’s second coming about 4 years away.
The two passages of
scripture you quoted point to Christ’s second coming and
the opening of the 6th seal as being
simultaneous. With
the children of God being gathered/harvested/raptured
PRIOR to the time when the bowls of the wrath of God are
poured on the earth in Rev Chap 16.

14 I looked, and there
before me was a white cloud, and seated on the cloud was one "like a son of man" with a crown
of gold on his head and a sharp sickle in
his hand.
15 Then another angel came out of the temple
and called in a loud voice to him who was sitting on the
cloud, "Take your sickle and reap, because the time to
reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is ripe."
16 "So he who was seated
on the cloud swung his sickle over the earth, and the
earth was harvested.
