"Rowina's bloodlines"

Rowina, what an interesting post! My heritage is much the same as yours, as far as I know - almost all Scotland in the few genealogies I've seen, before coming to coal-mining country in Tennessee and Kentucky, with one ancestor making a two-generation stop in Northern Ireland. My children have a Swedish great-grandfather through their dad, and I once saw a Swedish hockey player briefly on TV who looked so much like my kids' father that I nearly fell off my chair.

I get excited thinking about Heaven, and what Jesus has prepared for us. One of the things I want to do in Heaven is to trace my ancestry all the way back to Adam and Eve, and my mitochondrial DNA through my mothers all the way back to Eve, then trace the ancestry of every other citizen of Heaven, as well! And, of course, I want to sit and have fellowship with all those who came before me. I figure that will take a few thousand years, but hey, we have eternity, right?? :D

I know this is off-topic, since your post is focusing on our possible Jewish heritage, but I am totally fascinated by how we are all related and interconnected. Thanks for sharing that information.
