"Coulby-Deeper meaning
in Matt. 16 feeding of 5000"
Some further insight into the deeper understandings in Matt. 16-
the feeding of the 5,000. Look at the numbers. 5 loaves and 2
fishes. 5 in the bible speaks of Gods grace, 2 speaks of a
witness (with 2 there is a witness). The loaves and fish are
looked upon as food being given by Christ to the multitude as an
act of grace with many many witnesses (5,2). You also have the
12 baskets of bread being found at the end of the feeding. 12 is
the number of government and after Christ is finished feeding
the multitude during this present age of grace, his government
will be established in heaven and then he will take over the
establishment of his government here on earth, hence the number
12. Pretty interesting how even the numbers used in
scripture enhance the event. God thought of everything.
