"WHERE'S THE PROMISE
OF HIS COMING?"
Blessings in Christ,
Scripture says that He is coming when we least expect (Matt. 24:
44). Do you know what this really means, because most likely,
it's not what you expect!
This scripture verse isn't referring to knowing or not knowing
the time of His coming, for we can know the exact time of His
coming and still be found expecting (not be found worthy). I
remind you of 1 Cor. 13, that even if we have all knowledge, and
have not love (ceasing from the sins of the flesh), it means
nothing.
Living a holy lifestlye is not a diet, putting forth effort to
lose weight for a moment in time, and after losing the amount we
desire, to then bing alittle, for we feel we've earned it.
Living a holy lifestyle is a complete re-conditioning of the
heart and mind, having repented from the worldly lusts, as we do
the true doctrine of Christ, strengthening the inner man/woman,
as our surrendering to Him increases our holiness, allowing Him
to do His work in us, as we continually abide in Him, and He in
us.
Do a spiritual check with yourself and be brutally honest. Are
you living like the diet, living emotionally, putting on
strength only when you feel its time?, because if you are, this
won't make it. To live a holy lifestyle is making the decision
to live His way, NO MATTER WHAT! The person who has
decided to live for Christ has sanctified themselves (set apart
from the world for a holy purpose), having ceased from doing the
sins of the flesh, because they know they can do it, for with
God all things are possible (Mk. 9: 23; 10: 27). When temptation
comes, because they have sanctified themselves, they don't give
into it, for they know that those things lead to death.
Scripture says,
"Whosoever abides in Him sins not; whoever sins has not seen
Him, neither known Him" (1 Jn. 3: 6), and again it says,
"We know that whosoever is born of God sins not; but he that is
begotten of God keeps himself, and that wicked one toucheth him
not" (1 Jn. 5: 18).
You must train (exercise) yourself in righteousness and true
holiness like your life depended upon it, because it does!!!
IN Christ,
Greg
P.S. I don't know this for fact, only as scripture reads,
but I really think any person holding onto the false doctrine,
which claims we cannot cease from dong the sins of the flesh,
that when they miss the Rapture (and they will, except they
repent now), they will not ever come to Christ, because they
refused to believe the true gospel/doctrine, God sending a
strong delusion that they should believe the lie.
I think there is a mindset that if we tell people to not take
the mark now, when that time does come, some will refuse the
mark, because of us telling them. I don't see this at
all!! If they won't believe God's word, why should they
believe us? They've made their decision.
If the religious and unbelievers alike miss the Rapture, it's
only because of one thing: they refused to believe the true
gospel/doctrine of Christ, which tells and teaches us that we
can cease from sin, the very thing Christ died for.
As Christ said from the beginning of His ministry, it remains
the same until the rapture: REPENT!!!!
Therefore who are those coming to Christ during the
tribulation? Is it not them the Lord resumes His attention
to, the Jews, as He pours out His Holy Spirit, along with the
two witnessess and the 144,000?
This is just something to seriously consider if you think an
unbeliever or religious person can still make it later.
